If you're looking for more
Legendary Map Pack media in this week's
Bungie Weekly Update then be prepared for disappointment, because there isn't any. But this week you do get a lot of answers to a lot of your questions, although we do use the word "your" very liberally. We say this because we can't be sure if your (as in you) questions are being answered or if your (as in the
Halo 3 community as a whole) questions get answered. Confused yet? Good. In answering some of "your"
Halo 3 questions,
Bungie mentions the possibility of adding Team Swat, adding more competitive playlists and the real reason why our pretty fire bomb and Flare / Radar Jammer equipment are not used in matchmaking. You'll also be smacked in the face with a long and in-depth history of the Bumper Jumper control scheme as well. Though, if that sounds like a yawn fest to you, just skip the first half of this week's update.

At least Bungie cares about their community...something I can't say about Infinity Ward. They don't even have an official CoD4 forum/website/anything in fact. Oh and the only "Official"(and good too) site (CharlieOscarDelta) won't even let me in.
Infinity Ward is probably to lazy to listen to all those rants about Martyrdom,P90 or broken melee; Something they really need to learn from Bungie
CoD4 > Halo 3
Bungie > Infinity Ward

"At least Bungie cares about their community..."
Do you really think so? Read some of the comments in that question-answer "session."
Any question regarding changes made to the game that gamers may not appreciate they basically say, "Uh, it's better this way because we say so." In particular I'm looking at the comment about dual hammer/sword attacks and how in the new fix they apparently result in dual-deaths.
Or the response to this question:
"Will Push to talk ever be fixed or removed?"
Answer: "No, because it works. It can be annoying, but remember, this is to salvage valuable bandwidth, not work your nerves."
It seems to me they care very little about what the player thinks and instead believe only they have the right ideas.

"At least Bungie cares about their community..."
Like hell they do. They removed custom game searches from the game to force people to use matchmaking. They said this in the forums, and anyone who asked where custom game searches went, got a stock response, and then the topics were locked down.. FAST. Bungie bullies it's fans, and makes them believe what Bungie wants them to. Then they put on this facade of being community oriented, when they're not. They're not. They're Bungie oriented.

Dustin, "your" setup is a little flakey. Do you think Bungie can answer everyone's question? Of course it's questions from the Halo community, who else would they be from? Everyone who plays Halo is from the Halo community.
Oh, and read more plz:

I'll save you the Q&A...
Q: "Half-baked question"
A: "Stay tuned."
Q: "Question no one cares about"
A: "Maybe."
Q: "Why are you such arrogant jerks?"
A: "Stay tuned."

Bungie cares about their community.. please. They are only doing this because they are getting there asses handed to them by COD4 4 weeks in a row. If you look at any other halo fan forums (not bungie's official ones because they lock threads with any criticism about them) you'll see most people said bungie didn't listen to the fans and even went backwards with Halo 3. Before they were great back in the Marathon, and Halo 1,2 days. Now they just sold out for money. Once again this is just a cry of attention because COD 4 is owning them. BTW official sites are Charlieoscardelta.com, Infinityward.com, and also http://iamfourzerotwo.com/ who is the community manager.

Anyone else notice that the questions they were answering in the beginning of the update were about a fucking control scheme. Not only that but they are so ignorant about fixing push to talk. Even with it it's still a laggy game. Not only that but if they really cared about there community they would release Halo classic map packs instead of stupid 3 maps that should have been in the original game for 10 fucking dollars. Bungie sold out long time ago, and don't give a shit about the community at all. They made this game as noob friendly as possible.

The day we get Team SWAT and Sniper matchmaking playlists is the day I start playing Halo 3 again. Down with shields!
Mike-453 @ Mar 2nd 2008 7:49AM
Boo, no shields for all games = teh boredom.
George Arauz @ Mar 2nd 2008 1:11PM
Good job Bungie
houdink @ Mar 4th 2008 1:20AM
i agree with rumble i miss team snipers from halo 2 that was the best play list. If bungie puts T.S. back in halo 3 i MIGHT start playing it again. Until then COD4 all da way.
