Bad Company screens show off campaign and multiplayer mayhem

We didn't think we'd ever utter the words again, since the perfection that was Battlefield 2 PC, but we're giddy for the newest Battlefield title hitting shelves later this year. Sure, Battlefield: Bad Company might be using a known franchise title to gain notoriety, considering the direction the game is going in, but jaw-dropping videos of the game's destructible environments keep us hopeful. What we hope is that Battlefield: Bad Company plays as well as it looks and doesn't turn into a one-trick pony. Looking for more to whet your appetite? Zomg, an actual PC gamer! Yes, Battlefield 2 was excellent on PC, (but 2142 and BF2 for Xbox weren't) so here's hoping this game is great (it sure looks it). Battlefield is the only game so far to really pull of huge 64 player matches with tanks and planes and squads. This games destructible environments look great, so I'm very much intruiged.

@ogvor: Hellz Yeah I'm a PC gamer too. You'll notice if you go to my personal blog that I'm currently playing Gears of War PC and Universe at War PC.
Maybe not the most PC-centric games ever, but whatevs.

After watching all of the videos and everything on this game, I went out to reserve it this weekend and now the long agonizing wait for it to come out begins.

The ghilly suits look so realistic they might actually be functional. The textures and detail are ridiculous; If Call of Duty isn't completely made obsolete here it will only be on gameplay issues.
