Bungie makes good with erased 360 owner

Upon hearing this sad, sad tale, team Bungie went into action to right any wrongs. And boy did they ever right the wrong. Nathaniel was overjoyed to receive a gigantic swag bag from team Bungie, full of Halo memorabilia, action figures, clothing, accessories, hardware, music and an autographed Legendary cat helmet. Just take a look at it all! All we can say is boo to those evil monkeys at the Xbox 360 repair center, yippy for Nathaniel and mad props to Bungie for being caring enough to jump in and make things right. Oh happy day!

That is just awesome news! YAY for Nathaniel! YAY for Bungie! That is SO SO damn awesome!
As for Microsoft... I am not surprised but holding ill will against them would be unfair (like even Nathaniel points out.) There probably isn't a lot of communication between all the people who work on re-assembling the consoles. Its probably like a assembly line and the last person is the cleaner. It sadly is not that surprising to me that the word didn't get passed all the way down to the cleaner.
Anyway, I love the awesome inspiring story! Happy stories like this always bring a smile to my face!

this story has actually caused me to drop CoD4 and pop in Halo 3 again. *sniff* good going Nathaniel!

That is why I like Bungie.

Bungie is one of the best game developers as far as interacting with their fans goes. I love how they handle their business, and I hope to be apart of the company one day down the road. =)

And that's one more reason why the Bungie team is my favorite developers of all time. :D

Now that is awesome! Way to go Bungie!

Wow! That sucks! That's nice of Bungie but I'd prefer to have my console back with all the signatures on it and the picture. That is like a one of a kind 360. In a scenario like this, M$ should allow you to remove the case to protect it from the Repair center.

I fixed my 360 when it started freezing. Never had problems since :)... He should have done the same once it started freezing on him (if he was that lucky).

Because of this, Bungie stands out as the best company out there. More companies need to be like this. Customers first

Bungie is awesome at doing this.
Although it probably cost them next to nothing, and probably like five minutes of their time, still awesome.

Don't worry I'll do it for you (takes out CoD and puts in Halo). That wasn't so hard.
erivera3 @ Mar 8th 2008 7:17PM
Bungie is the best, and so is Halo
Imadogg @ Mar 9th 2008 10:19AM
Agree with the rest, Bungie is awesome.
And I read that story about Nathaniel's sad tale... wow that sucks. Glad he got all this stuff. Though it doesn't bring back the memories on his 360, it helps.
