Rock Band DLC: Paramore, Serj and Black Tide
This week, Rock Band downloadable content is going SXSW with the release of three master recordings from three groups all for three special prices. So, for a limited time (of which we aren't sure how limited), you can grab Paramore's "Crushcrushcrush", Serj Tankian's "Beethoven's C***" or Black Tide's "Shock Wave" for the gotta have 'em good price of 80 Microsoft points. Like we said, we aren't sure how long these tracks will be available for 80 points or whether you'll even value them at such a price point, but we'd recommend a purchase within' the next week or so just to be safe. And as always, we've listed all the Rock Band DLC goodness in handy-dandy list form after the break.

Sign me up. Im a big fan Serj Tankian and SOD (essentially the same sound). For 80 points thats a steal, not your traditional main stream song which is probably why it's so cheap.
I havent heard of the other two bands though, I'll have to look that up.

The Paramore song will be downloaded at my house, I've actually been listening to this album this week, it's pretty decent, and it helps with the dearth of 'chick songs' for RB parties.

any Serj track is a welcome addition in my opinion, would love to see more complete albums, and that one would get my vote, fantastic to see live as well if he is playing anywhere near you.

In other news, those prices are great. If I had Rock Band I would pick up the Paramore song pretty quickly. :)

Yeah, Shockwave is missing. Harmonix is aware of it and is working with Microsoft to figure out why it's not up yet.

Well I'm fairly disappointed right now. Especially after looking forward to some new Skynyrd to download for the last month or so. Hopefully that promised March content - Skynyrd, Metallica, Sabbath - actually comes out in March.

All three songs sound pretty good actually. 80 points is that "who gives a piss" price point that might get me grabbin all of them. Def the Paramore tune though.

It's a good deal. I'm glad they're tossing up some lesser known things for a great price. I'm more likely to waste a buck on here than $2, particularly since I can't use these songs on anything else.

Ugh paramore. The most overated band out there. They are really not that good. The singer chick is hot, but the music kinda sucks. Hoping for stay alive next week

That's the thing about music, it's completely subjective. I love Paramore and think they're pretty awesome. Though we're in agreement about haley(sp) being a hottie.

Dude... do you have a radio? Or, say, a tv? Or maybe the internet? Paramore has been plaguing my life on every medium, they won't go away. As for Serj, he's the lead singer of System of a Down and if you're not familiar with them... well... I pity your soul. I've been having wet dreams about the day that I'd be able to play/sing some System/Serj on either Rock Band or Guitar Hero!

Wow, my opinion of Paramore has dropped significantly now that I watched that youtube video. I'd not heard them up to now, only seen them on MTV, and i'm definitely not surprised that they were on MTV and also suck.
Sorry to those who like them, but I mean even Fall Out Boy, who is bad, has catchier songs. Not that catchy makes a song good, but at least they have that. Harmonix should keep this bland modern rock crap out or make it advertising based free dlc.
