New COD4 maps detailed by GameSpot

The folks at GameSpot got their meat hooks on two of the four downloadable maps coming to Call of Duty 4. First and foremost, players will be happy to know that some of the new maps will not be set in the Middle East or Russia. GameSpot got to look at Broadcast and Creek, the first of which being set in the television station seen during the campaign mission "Charlie Don't Surf." The environment from the campaign is faithfully replicated with some design changes made to suit multiplayer. Creek, on the other hand, is set somewhere entirely new, complete with lush greenery, cliffs, a cave and, yes, a creek. The map is "massive" according to GameSpot with lots of places to go. The final two maps are "Chinatown" and "Killhouse." The first is fairly obvious, while the second map was apparently inspired by the training course from the first mission of the game. The price for the DLC remains a mystery as does its release date (though it was originally billed as a "spring" release). Hit the "read" link for GameSpot's full impressions.

A map that is not a cut off of campaign (faints), I'll probably pass if it cost money, I not that big of a CoD fan so I can wait, and if they require you to get these to play, I'll just play H3 or something else. I don't know how the very big map will play though.

looks like another $10 will part ways with my wallet! I'm sure they will release this shortly after R6V2 releases, to offset all the people jumping ship.

Let me end the mystery for you: it'll cost 800pts.

Are theses maps going to be available for off line play? I bring my 360 to work and hook up with a couple of friends to play split screen....

Why are people so spoiled? IW developers spent time developing these maps, a few bucks compensation shouldn't be a problem.
If you buy a car, should any accessory you put on there afterwards be free just cause you bought the car?
I'll be more than happy to give a few bucks to IW for this game, think of it as a "tip".

Adam ... you nailed it.
A weapon expansion set would be worth it too. Unless you're the guy who only uses the M16.

Chinatown is a remake of Carentan. Great map.
