Street Fighter HD filesize no longer an issue

Street Fighter fans put away those shiny pennies in an effort to purchase a PlayStation 3. Game producer, Rey Jimenez, put fears of a "gimped" Xbox 360 version of the upcoming Super Street Fighter II Turbo HD Remix to rest with the latest blog post on Capcom's official site. "I can officially say that the filesize will not be an issue," Jimenez said. "With great help from the guys at Microsoft, we will be able to offer the same features on both platforms to the same quality as each other. To use the term I've been reading on the forums, neither console version will be "gimped" due to any kind of limitation."
All we can say is phew. This news comes at a perfect time for fans of the series who have recently been told about a beta test program that will be rolling out this Spring. The last thing we can hope for is that the "compression ninjas" at Microsoft will help with that Bionic Commando: Rearmed issue as well.

Last time I checked,PSN doesnt have a filesize limit. Quit stomping your feet all over everything because it's not what you have.

All I have to say is, RoboBlitz...
Still looks amazing even with a file size limit...

Yes, among the many other things PSN doesn't have.

Oh please now. I own all 3 systems and the whole Xbox Live thing has become myspace to me. People are more concerned about what their friends are doing rather then playing the damn games. I can only imagine how you Xbox fanboys are going to spin it when PSN gets the same features Live has. Not to mention the damn thing is free. Right now i'm using a second account on Live because I can't fathom to actually pay for a basic feature like MATCHMAKING anymore.

Well.. this IS Xbox 360 fanboy... what do you expect?

Why would not paying for Gold require a second account? Maybe I'm misunderstanding.

Making a new account gives you a month of gold free.

yes, its been confirmed by IGN that they're not going to gimp the 360 version of Bionic Commando either. They're going to allow them to bypass the file size limit also. kudos Microsoft!!

I don't understand why one comes here criticizing XBL and tooting the horn to PSN when this is XBOX360FANBOY.COM.
I (and I would assume most others here on X3F though I will not speak for them) take pride in being a 360 owner and accept XBL for what it is. It is an excellent console matchmaking service. Yes I have to pay for it but I accept it and I wouldn't want anything less.

Now only if the xbox360's D-pad wasn't such a POS.
