Video: 360 cameo in new season of South Park

Crazy obsessed South Park fanboys (like us) have no doubt already noticed that last night's ~~thirteenth~~ twelfth season premier featured a brief cameo of our lil white and oh so culturally hip Xbox 360. You can watch the Xbox 360 death threat cameo from last night's "Tonsil Trouble" episode after the break in the embedded video at about 1:45. And even though this isn't the first time we've seen video game culture transcend into the South Park world, we must say that this has to be one of the funniest 360 cameos to date. Hilarious! Oh South Park ... how we love thee.

Is this the first 360 appearance on there? They've sure used Wii and Nintendo characters a lot lately.

Funny seeing the 360 but the episode really let me down. I didn't laugh the entire episode, kidda like when Stan coached the Hockey Team. Do more with Stan's Dad. "I'm not an artard"...Classic.

My GF and I watched that last night. She thought it would have been funny if the 360 was red-ringing when he picked it up. I told it wouldn't be funny, it would be realistic... and that's not why I watch cartoons.

^^I really thought they would do a dig at the 360 with the red lights...but...disappointment! That would have been awesome, really.

Excellent episode. Anyone catch the underlying message though? Is AIDS getting less attention and money funding these days and cancer getting more? If so...that's excellent way to put it really. Nothing like a big jab.

i like the simpson's episode with the 360 better. it was actually used as a joke. krusty is definitely running QA in microsoft's 360 dept. LOL.

Too bad that episode wasn't funny in the least. Come to think of it, South Park hasn't been original or funny for at least five or six years now.

It would have been funnier if Cartman said something like: "Dude hold up, no wait! You don't have to break my Xbox 360!"
Kyle: "And why shouldn't I?!!"
Cartman (sheepishly): "Cuz it already red ringed on me last night."
Kyle (noticing the three red rings): "Awww F*CK!!!"

Or something like that.

Richie, are you crazy, it's one of the only funny and orignal show left on television. It constantly keeps up to date with every pop culture craze, how can it not be original.

p.s. i too thought the xbox would have red ringed.
or maybe have s scene at the end where cartman got home to find that kyle hadn't broken his xbox, but he turned it on to find out it had red ringed anyways lol.
