Gamerscore Blog likes Vegas 2 a little too much

While most of the media focuses on whether or not games can turn innocent children into mindless killing machines, there is a much more dangerous psychosis that affects fully grown men. It's the kind of thing that makes a man stalk the toy aisle every time he goes shopping with his significant other, the sort of thing that compels him to buy the newest Nerf toy. Case in point: the latest video from Gamerscore Blog. It seems the boys in Redmond (we don't see what's her name anywhere) have become a little too fond of Rainbow Six Vegas 2. Don't take our word for it though. Watch the video -- handily embedded after the break -- and judge for yourself.

I thought the game was very half assed, to be brutally honest. It definitely feels like a step down after playing COD4. Also, the hit detection is terrible and I mean on single player.

im not really going to compare cod4 with r6v2.

hit detection on you or the enemy ? its hard to get headshots type thing ?

It wasn't really funny until that last part, haha. I always wondered how a grenade that was just sort of lobbed over the head would break the glass.

(Or did they break the glass with their gun first in R6:V? I don't think they did if you just tossed a grenade at the glass while you were up against the wall like that)

R6V2 is a different type of shooter than COD4. Though everyone is now going to be comparing all shooters to COD4 and sadly... most (eventually there'll be one someday that doesn't) will fall short of being as amazing.

You just can't go in expecting it to be COD4. Maybe that's a wrong approach, (expecting lower) but thats how I look at it.

As for the Vid. Loved it! It was great!

They're tactical, FPS games based on the special forces, why would we not compare them? People compare Halo 3 and COD4, this is a more realistic comparison IMO. I loved the original, this was a big let down.

What a big mistake I made buying this game! Framerate sucks,graphics not that good, multiplayer lockdown maps reused, and a kinda thrown together story. "DO NOT BUY" if you haven't already I can't belive IGN gave this an 8.4 score what bunch B.S. I'll never trust IGN again.
