Haze madness continues, PS3 exclusive "for now"

The Haze exclusivity circus got itself a new act today. After representatives at a Play.com event were shouting to the hills that Haze would forever remain a PS3 exclusive title, CVG contacted Ubisoft for comment. Ubisoft responded that Haze will remain a PS3 exclusive "for now." In other words, the timed exclusive theory is gaining more ground. We can't help but once again be reminded of the ridiculous back and forth regarding Assassin's Creed exclusivity. We all know how that turned out, and it's looking like Haze is headed in the same direction. Frankly, it's getting out of hand. Hence, Picard facepalm.

Why are we still talking about this game? Everything I have seen so far has just shown that this game is mediocre at best. Aside from it's attempts at a "mature" narrative nothing about this game merits so many blog posts or mention of its exclusivity to one platform or another. Sony fanboys can't be this starved for games.

offtopic: I guess it wasn't deemed newsworthy but be advised there is a problem with R6V2 and the fact that it gives you a whack of XP if you've played R6V1, and if it ranks to to beyond "Private First Class", the corresponding achievement does not unlock.

I haven't really read up much about this game (I'm content with Halo 3 and COD4), but I love that picture!

Shame only ps3 can handle crysis, im gonna sell my 360 and get a ps3 now cause the graphics and physics are amazing plus there are some pretty amazing games.

Haze looks really poor - it looks like a cheap mans Far Cry Instincts(which was poor enough) - the whole 'nectar' system is absolutely awful.

Oh, and Crysis wont get more than 30fps average on 2 SLI'd 8800GT's with 4Gb RAM, so any sort of console port is just going to be ridiculously cut down. Oh, and in comparison - the PS3 GPU is equivalent to a 7900 - significantly less powerful than an 8800GT.

From what I've read, the game has some interesting ideas but the gameplay videos I've seen don't seem to live up to those interesting ideas.

Hazing is any activity expected of someone becoming part of a group or trying to keep status in a group that humiliates, degrades, or risks emotional and/or physical harm, regardless of the person's willingness to participate.

kinda like what sony does to people.Making them wait for games and lie to themselves.Its mental abuse and they should be sued.They abused there consumers by forcing a movie player into the console to push a format.

All these things define haze.
