Rumor: GTA IV Achievements 1/2 found! (Sort of!)

The guys over at 360sync were rather excited last night, having found a poster on the Gamespot foums who had a list of GTA IV achievements, but not quite the list in the way that they (or you, or us) would have liked. Seems that the only info right now comes from screenshots of the game's achievement blade, which will tell us the names of the achievements, but not the requirements or the point totals. So as small as that is, we can at least have some real meat for speculation. The whole list is well worth perusing and is (of course) filled with connections and references to everything from Asassin's Creed and Bioshock, to Rockstar's own censorship troubles. i do not like the sound of that, especially after hearing there giving out 10 and only 10 keys to the city for the first ten people to get 100% Please rockstar, i enjoy being able to 100% games achievement wise, don't put in something fucking stupid.

Anywho without a description I'm left presuming..rather disappointed myself, i was hoping for crackdown styled achievos. :P But I'll wait n see i guess.

One Man Army and Under the Radar were achievements in Orange Box.

Driving Mr.Bellic is a possible reference to Prison Break.

Dunno about the Bioshock one...No more strangers possible?

Alot of Achievements, and to the guy thinking you'll only get the acheivement if you are one of the first ten(if thats what i think your saying) im sure anyone can get the achievement key to the city, if thats what it is. and only the first actually get a key to the city. that would be what i think anyway..i mean, a achievement that only 10 people can get? kinda idiotic.

SadisticHam, Rockstar cannot make an achievement that only the first 10 people to finish the game 100% can get. It's against Microsofts policy.

Key to the city (achievement) will probably be for finishing the story, or 100%, the physical key to the city will be for the first 10 to do so.

Oh really? Achievement points?! Sweet... not... Achievement points are one of the funniest things I've seen people obsessed with.

Microsoft demands that ALL games are loaded with 1000 points, and downloaded content adds 250...

I find it funny that people actually cheated just to have a 'Gamer Score'.

The very last achievement point, Microsoft will release to everyone "Thanks for your money, Goodbye"

I'd hate to have a game with an achievement that's basically unreachable but if they found a way to give the achievement to the first people without leaving the content in for the other millions of people buying the game, that'd be really kind of cool. In a way it would sort of be like the Recon armor.
