Altair's true identity revealed

Hot off the heels of all the important news that is in no way influenced by the fact it's April Fools' Day is the announcement of Altair's latest adventure. Ubisoft producer Jade Raymond introduces a new type of assassin in this video which is verified to be AFS (April Fools' Safe).
In all seriousness, Ubisoft and Konami have teamed up for the ultimate gaming mash-up putting Altair, of Assassin's Creed, in the shoes of Solid Snake's (Metal Gear Solid 4) shoes as he battled through a futuristic battlefield.

Also, there was that rumor about MGS4 on Xbox.

I dont know if you guys have read this but Kojima said that MGS4 WILL NOT make it to the 360...Why? because MGS4 just filled the 50gb blu-ray disc. So that would take around 5-6 game discs to play it on the 360.

And you guys are extremely greedy little pigs, you have so many exclusive games and yet you want all of the PS3s? Just enjoy all of your games guys, give it a rest.

Kamall... let me ask you, what is wrong with people wanting to play games that look like they'll be a lot of fun? Seriously, what's wrong with that? I didn't see any comments suggesting anyone wanted to see MGS4 as a PS3 exclusive. So what's your beef? Do you own a manufacturing plant that Sony uses to make ps3 hardware or something? I don't see why you would care, or how you would benefit from a game remaining exclusive on one console (or the other) otherwise. For Sony/MS it makes perfect sense to want exclusivity for titles... for gamers like myself (and not so much for hardware OEMs like you) though, as well as 3rd party publishers, doesn't it make more sense to make titles avaliable to as wide an audience as possible?

I guess with SSBB out, game developers are more willing to do these cross-developer mashes. Still that was pretty cool but I was expecting Altair to climb some buildings lol.

I'm calling it now: Altair Snake is going to be one of many unlockable costumes, much like the "Bond"
costume in the original MGS. Kojima and Co. are just that weird/cool haha. (Ape Escape monkeys in MGS3? :) )
I really want this game. I'm TRYING to justify the purchase of a PS3, but seriously, this is the ONLY GAME I'd want on that system. Ugh... I guess I could use a Blu-Ray player..?

Err...good vid. But the joke was too long. Almost 5 mins. I pity the developers who had to make this useless video which would not even get a chuckle or two out of it's audience. The 'cow' sound was cheeky but that's it.
What a waste of time. But hey, nice to see two companies coming together.

I don't think you guys understand that the cow sound you are hearing is the actual sound the make in the game. That isn't just some fluff they put in for the april fools joke.

Too long really and a bit dull for most of it. I was looking forward to seeing Altair scaling some buildings but then realised it's just old snake looking lame with his cigerette in altair's gear.
Still pretty cool though.

What a sick ass clip this was. Hideo is a genious and Jade is sexy. MGS4 is going to blow everything away and this video makes me excited for June 12th even more.

im going with what Pete said. The assassins costume will be an unlockable costume in the game. If this was just for a joke, then they would have made a simple pre rendered trailer-like video. this is longer and looks to be real gameplay footage. This just justifys a pS3 purchase by my even more. (never looked at the MGS series. only wanted the resistance games and ratchet and clank)

you guys are stupid....mgs4 will never be on the xbox 360....they said it didnt even fit everything on blu-ray i dont think dvd 9 can handle it unless you want alot of disc.... so keep wish all you want... wont change the fact that it will come to the xbox lol....
