Rare serves up five possible Banjo-Kazooie 3 plots

In news we totally expect to be an April Fools' joke and one that is played off rather coyly at that, Rare thought they'd offer loyal Banjo-Kazooie fanboys five possible Banjo-Kazooie 3 storylines as part of their latest feature "Disinformation Central". You see, they claim that one of the five possible storylines they offer up is the game's real one with the other four being made up nothingness. Take a look at all five different plot outlines after the break, decide which one is real, then slap your face because we all know none of them are legit. Or so we don't think. Maybe Rare's April Fools' joke is the fact that they're being serious? Or maybe that's what they want us to think? Meh, too confusing, just enjoy the read.

Possible Banjo-Kazooie 3 Plots

Rumour One: Banjo and Grunty team up against a new threat, falling in love in the process. Sexy post-transformation Grunty makes a return and proves irresistible to our heroic bear, much to Kazooie's disgust. Can the mismatched trio defeat their fire-breathing foe?
Rumour Two: Kazooie is abducted by aliens and Banjo heads out to search the cosmos. Partway through his low-gravity exploits, he discovers who's taken her... and it's a familiar face from the Rare archives who has been 'turned to the green side' by Grunty.
Rumour Three: Banjo and Kazooie travel back through time in pursuit of the witch's giant T.I.T. Grunty drives her Time Interfering Truck back to before the bear and bird met. The duo must reintroduce themselves and relearn everything they know in a completely new way!
Rumour Four: Banjo comes out of retirement to stop his home being redeveloped into tower blocks and malls. To end the struggle, a capricious higher power engineers a bear/witch showdown through worlds of the imagination – with Spiral Mountain's ownership deeds going to the victor.
Rumour Five: War comes to Spiral Mountain, and Banjo becomes a reluctant leader. Ever seen a Jinjo Tank? Or Grunty's Grappling Grenadier Grunts? You will when you take on our innovative RTS-platformer hybrid campaign.

Hmm these plots seem pretty silly, wish they'd just work on the game and get it done.

I never owned an N64 so my exposure to this series is limited. However, the small amount I did end up playing was quite fun. I hope this 360 game won't require me to understand the previous plots to fully enjoy it.

I am a BIG fan of the Banjo series(Banjo is my all-time favorite game) and all of those storylines seem meh, but the third one seems like it would be the real storyline

It's already kind of been done.

There's a Banjo game for the GBA too and in it Grunty kidnaps Kazooie and goes back in time. Banjo gets help from Mumbo and follows and get Kazooie back pretty quick and then you go though a bunch of levels and beat up Grunty. I don't remember if I defeated Grunty or not so I don't know how it ended.

Jason I doubt it very much. I only played the first Banjo but it was very good, almost but not quite as good as Super Mario 64.

I agree, I always compared it to Mario 64, but in my opinion they were both great. I never played the second one, but I loved the first. Actually started playing it again about 3 days ago.

Sounds like an Aprils Fools joke, because they are ridiculous and lame.

Rare, if this is the best you can up with for an April Fools joke then I fear what the quality of the game will be.

What's up with all these "just release the game and stop having fun posts" on here and the Castle Crasher news. It's not going to delay your frickin' game if one person takes fifteen minutes out of their day to write an April Fool's joke. Stop whining losers and learn to be patient.
