While last week's comedy routine was knocked the content was fantastic. This week's Community Content combines two fantastic games into one great experience. Using Foundry this week's submission is a remake of 2Fort, from Quake & Team Fortress Classic.
Perfect for single and multi flag events, 2Fort5 Classic is one of the more intricate maps ever submitted to the X3F Army. Jump in for all the details and the strategy guide!

Details from the Creator
I based it off of the original 2fort4/5 for Quake & Team Fortress Classic. But, save for the fact that i couldn't make the awesome flag room/main room in each base (for space restrictions), I think I have made a decent recreation.
It has the bridge in the center of two big bases with underground passageways under the bridge to the rear of the base entrance, and instead of water it has some coils/tanks that you can set off to kill or maim anyone under the bridge. This isn't setup like other Team Fortress maps where you can "choose" a class, but it has class weapons from Team Fortress like the Chaingun, the Rocket Launcher, Sniper Rifle and Flame Thrower, and if you can run around long enough in the "water" you can grab the Active Camo and Sword to be a spy!

that video highlights the problem with halo 3 custom content.....
Good luck trying to play more then 4 or 5 players on your map. If only we could host the map and have people publicly browse for custom games. I stopped making maps for halo 3 after my second one when I made a map suited for 5v5 or more and could never even try it because its near impossible to get 10 players in your game.

psssh enough of your whining, add more friends to your list and PRESTO you'll have more people in your custom matches. Do not state that its 'near impossible' to get ten people in a match because many(including myself) consider it very easy.

my list is just about full. Most of my friends on it are for N+. you can only have 100 friends remmeber, and most people dont want to play custom games.
Stop making excuses for bungies lackluster custom game system.

The inviz flag carrier was me too. :P :D I really enjoyed playing this with Xav. Btw, Xav, if you need people to game with you for the next community content, I'd be glad to help again.
Btw Xav, some of your kills on me were BS...like that sword kill that was nowhere near me and the shotgun shot that went off as you beat me down should have killed you.

LOL...the guy didnt even know where to score the flag! he would have stood there until you guys killed him...at which point either me or perfectOzer0 would have to score for him. so why not get the game over with quicker? LOL
btw...I was HOPING you would include that in the vid ;)

I enjoyed this video too, though less editing of the talking bits, the random jumps of the objects and characters kinda distracts me >.<

The map was a blast and my friends and I had fun at our LAN last night while playing it, but there's a huge gaping problem that we noticed.
At the beginning of the match, if you go immediately right or left depending on which side you're on, you can jump right into the opposing teams' base. Some more testing even revealed that we could quickly flag cap this way, completely bypassing the things that make the map great (bridge, water, etc.). Was this intentional? In order to make it playable with my guys I was going to balance a nice large crate up there to keep from any more shenanigans, but just thought you guys should know.

I created the map, and yes I also noticed the quick flag-cap method of jumping over the center walls...but I had also hit my forge limit! I could remove some of the boxes to add more long walls up top, but I have gotten the orange box and virtua fighter 5 since then so I have been stuck in other games. :P

What I did to alleviate the issue and free up some monies was to go to the far corners of foundry and remove the extra single box area in the corner of each base. I then took the allocation and put two corner walls on each open wall of the base. This kept people from jumping across, but still provided a slight amount of protection when dropping down into the water when appropriate.
