New Ninja Gaiden II Cutscene and Concept Art

We saw the reveal of the newest lady in the Ninja Gaiden universe earlier this week, and now, courtesy of 1up, we bring you another cutscene with Sonia, direct-feed this time. The cutscene comes from the end of the game's first chapter, Sky City Tokyo, and is rather similar to one from the first game. It involves Ryu saving Sonia from an enemy who needed a distraction and seemingly has bigger fish to fry.

In another amazing reveal, apparently the CIA is recruiting from the S&M community, as that's who Sonia is working for to get help from Ryu to fight the fiends, who themselves are trying to resurrect the arch-fiend. As you likely have noticed, the story is rather thin, so focus on the funny things (like the reuse of the DOAX bounce physics). The only other thing of note to come out of the update was a great piece of concept art for Sonia.

yea im an installer for Directv. I have seen many homes displaying HD content from all the HD service providers. By far Directv has the most channels with the most content and the best picture quality. I'm pretty sure i'm the biggest Ninja Gaiden / DOA fanboy ever born, but this video makes me rage.

FOR THE LOVE OF CHRIST INCLUDE THE JAPANESE VOICES ON THE US RETAIL DISK.

aside from that, holy crap i'm efffing excited for this game.

what the hell man...this is not a page for advertising your satellite provider bull S@#T. seriously, why do people like you have to bring yourself into everyone's everyday life just so you can peddle your damn product. for one thing, direct tv told me i had to buy a hd/dvr reciever for $300 and then i would get a $100 mail in rebate! until this changes, shut it...and after this changes, stay out of 360fanboy, because if you do actually play games and enjoy this site, you would never NEVER post ultra-overcapitalist-ayn rand on crack infested bull. sorry for going off but i hate people who do this...they are just telemarketers without the phone. blah

I fucking hate that female character, based solely on her appearance. But I get it, it's just Team Ninja's style.

I don't know what Team Ninja has against using Ayane or Kasumi in their plot lines for Ninja Gaiden (they used Ayane in 1...sorta...), but I'd much rather see either them or Rachel than this new fugly girl. Hopefully she isn't in very much of the game.

That aside, I really hope they include the Japanese audio (and subtitles) with this game. Ryu sounds lame as all hell in English. Seeing as how even Dead or Alive Xtreme Beach 2 had Jap Voices + Subtitles, I don't see how they couldn't include them.
