COD4 double XP extended an extra day

Many Xbox Live users trying to get their mitts on the new Variety Map Pack for Call of Duty 4 last Friday ran into some trouble. Some reported problems downloading the maps. Others apparently had problems even playing games on Xbox Live as a result of so many people attempting to download the maps at the same time. Understandably, this irked many gamers that were looking forward to earning double experience points over the weekend during COD4's double XP weekend. Good news then, as Infinity Ward's community guru fourzerotwo has made it known that the double XP weekend has been extended for another 24 hours. While concrete times aren't mentioned, he notes that the weekend has been extended to "Tuesday morning."

Give the PS3 Rumble and I'll care... wont pay for it on my PS3 just for that reason.. I bought both games though check my gamer tag.....

Who cares. I'm sure IW isn't too proud to admit they'll copy the good things Bungie does. Too bad that isn't many things. IW has nothing more to prove. At least more people play COD4 everyday on Xbox Live. Sad how Halo 3 apparently sold more copies, yet way more people play COD4.

its funny how everybody somehow now loves call of duty when noone was talking about it during the callofduty 2-3 days. its funny. but halos been hot every time. i havent even played my copy of callofduty in weeks. thats how "good" it is.

I didn't like Call of Duty 2 or 3 half as much as COD 4 because they weren't even close to the amount of win of COD4. So smart ass that's why people weren't talking about it as much because it wasn't as good especially the massive fail known as COD 3!

You couldn't do P90-whoring on CoD2 so the best we had was good ol' BXR on Halo 2.

I really love CoD2... CoD4, not so much. Everything I loved about CoD2 was ripped from CoD4. Good Job, Infinity Ward. I, personally, am starting to hate CoD4. This "Let's copy EVERY thing Bungie does and act like nothing's going on" shit is getting annoying. At least try to act orginal, Infinity Ward.

And I'm with you... haven't played CoD 4 in probably a month and a half now... And not because I wanted to, either. I just wanted to hang out with 3 other friends who decided Halo was getting boring.

COD4 is for people that can't hack a game that takes skill (Halo 3). Anyone can pick up COD4 and level up to the top and get all the perks. This game was so boring I sold it and haven't given it a second thought. Nothing like blowing up a warthog full of noobs. Oh, that's right... COD4 doesn't have vehicles or video playback or screenshots to send the enemy that you just pwnd them!!! COD4 is boring and gets old. Waaayyyyy too much hype around this game!!!

THANK YOU. the only reason and i repeat only reason i play this is because my dad who happens to frequently play xbox live plays it. other than that no go for me. my dad and a friend or two and that is it. other than that halo. either way. its my opinion vs. theirs. i love me some halo.
