Street Fighter IV: 10 El Fuerte screens
A few days ago Capcom shot out these fresh screens of El Fuerte, one of the newest characters in the upcoming Street Fighter 4. Included in the screens, that guest star an unfortunate Zangief getting taken to town, are the Guile and Blanka environments which mighty pretty, in a heavy UDON ink kinda way. Some of the shots look interesting and while we're optimistic for the fighter, we wonder how hardcore fans are taking the over-the-top antics of the characters (ie. Zangief's expression in the above image.) Hardcore? Let us know what you think about these shots and your overall impression of the upcoming fourth installment.

Street fighter was something anyone that lived during the early 90’s remembers with nostalgia and while I know there are tons of followers out there for me is just not the same (Mostly because I was never good at SF and I was more of a MK fan) for me SF is something that died in the 90’s with the ‘tude and the awful Super Nintendo commercials.
Now that Marvel vs Capcom is a different story.
I’ll keep an eye on this anyway.

I think the characters have always been over the top. Personally, I am very much looking forward to this game.

I play 3rd Strike every single day on the office MAME cabinet so I'll take this opportunity to speak on behalf of "hardcore fans of the series":
We are excited.
We're also confused as to who thought Street Fighter fans were all serious and anti-over-the-topness. I think you might have us confused with Virtua Fighter fans.

just noticed a possible typo, are the Guide and Blanka environments which mighty pretty, did u mean Guile? or is this a character i haven't heard of

I'm not liking the Art direction. It looks far too cartoony for my taste. I hope it'll look better in motion
