Someone has GTAIV early and it isn't you
One can always expect that street dates will be broken and a select few lucky turds will get copies of a game hours, days or even weeks in advance of its retail release. And that exact scenario has already played out as one lucky turd posted an image of his his super early copy of GTAIV that he probably obtained through questionable (illegal) means. Darn lucky turds. Oh, and to the lucky turd who's pictured, we have some advice for you. Upgrade to a Pro already and shave your console's mustache. The white bezel and facial hair just isn't doing it for us.

That GTA IV disc looks like the worst version because it's Xbox 360.
If it's on PS3, with GTA IV on Blu-ray disc will make it looks better and the best, reliable version.

Exactly what I noticed which made me think this could have been a photoshop job which someone printed on a label and stuck on a disc. Considering that someone has already played the damn game I guess it could be real and just a bad decision made by R* or MS.

On the Xbox 360 version of GTA IV, the install is optional. If you didn't install, you'll experence frame-rate drops and pop-ups. Sorry that's why the 360 sucks. ALL PS3s have hard-drives, that's good! Some 360s don't have hard-drive = GTA IV ruined!

What serious gamer (is there such a thing?) doesn't have a hard drive with their 360? Trust me pal, everybody who wants or needs one has one. It's really no contest anyway. The 360 version has DLC, PS3 doesn't, and they both look the same. Where's the comparison? I have a PS3 and the only things I've ever played on it were Resistance and Uncharted. If I could somehow go back in time and prevent myself from purchasing it, I would.

You sir are a moron, has any 360 game ever had on option to instll the game?? I thought the PS3 used that to combat the slower seek times of the BluRay drive.
I have both systems (and a Wii, like that counts) and I will be getting this for 360. Only because of the greater number of people online to play multiplayer with. And the DLC. And I won't have to get a new controller to feel the rumble.

FAKE - All new Xbox Games have 'Live' on the disc instead of 'Xbox Live'. Check your Rainbow Six Vegas 2 disc if you don't believe me. Good fake, but not real I'm afraid - plus retail copies of the discs have only just entered production.

It looks like a fake disk. All the new xbox 360 games have the green rings up in the white area of the disk.

I instantly thought it was a fake simply because of the context of the photo. If you got hold of the game this early and wanted to post pics, why would you have the disc in the drive of the 360? Why wouldn't you post pics of it in the case or by the case? idk, just seemed fishy to me.
and as for the moustache... wtf? Maybe a diversionary tactic for the fake :)

On 360voice.com if you are a registered member, as he is, you can make your own personalised blog entries - which is what he did here. This is FAKE. All Xbox 360 games released after 26th March 2008 have the new disc design.

I don't know a lot about 360voice.com but if you are a registered member, are you also able to add your own custom games to your "Played Games" list. Shows GTA IV along with about 80 other games in his Played Games list. Looks like he did more then just spoof a blog entry.

thats not how it works... if you signon to XBL, and you pop in a game, it will automatically register that game while you play... IF WHILE YOU PLAY THE GAME, you want to make your own entry it will read like this: "While GAMERTAG was playing GTAIV, he decided to say: hey this game is great".... thats how it works... this is no joke... He did not make his own entry...

No bagging on the guy because he has an Arcade unit. That's what I'm using now. I use my old hard drive from my Pro (which I gave to my nephews for Christmas), and it came with a wireless controller and happens to be a Falcon.
With a hard drive connected, the Arcade has nothing to differentiate it from the Pro (except for the drive tray cover being white instead of chrome, which I happen to think looks better anyway.) The guts are the same as the Elite or Pro.
Why should I have spent $349 for a Pro when I could get a newer Arcade for $279 and just slap my hard drive on it? My nephews didn't need a hard drive (they aren't allowed on Live) and they're happy with the memory card.
The only negative is that the Arcade has a louder DVD drive. My Pro had the BenQ, and I miss it.
I'd buy a new Xbox just to get one that doesn't make so much noise when a disc is spinning.
