First Gears 2 in-game footage coming May 9th

Gears fans who salivate at the mere mention of seeing in-game Gears of War 2 footage we order your salivation glands to commence the salivation process. We've just heard that Gametrailers TV will be exclusively premiering the first Gears 2 gameplay footage at 1:00AM on May 9th. The video will feature everyone's favorite lead designer Cliffy B doing a special (and we're sure very badass) video introduction which is said to include Marcus Fenix who will probably, no doubt, be tearing apart hordes and hordes of Locust scum. Our calendar is clear and our countdown clock has been set for May 9th ... bring on the Gears gameplay!

Hope they show us a few thing that are different from the first Gears, I hope it will be amazing. Instead just one thing different.

Lol Very badass Cliffy B intro? if its anything like the GDC intro I think I'll fast forward it, that thing made me cringe

Yea, seriously, they totally messed up the audio sync on that intro. LOL the chainsaw sound started 2 seconds after he went through the curtain.

Cant wait to see the new footage though.

its pretty awesome this is coming out this year (fingers crossed, no delay). after the ridiculous amount of great games in '07 i think this year might not measure up. but GTAIV, ninja gaiden 2, fallout 3, GoW 2, that's not too shabby at all. and i'm sure theres stuff i'm forgetting about. hope may 9th makes me feel giddy all over again.
