Quake Wars: Four new screens, screens, SCREENS!

Upcoming multiplayer focused shooter, Enemy Territory: Quake Wars is closing in on release and we have a few fresh screens of the Xbox 360 version. In development from Nerve Software, the team behind the Return to Wolfenstein Xbox port, Enemy Territory: Quake Wars is a class based first person shooter in the Quake universe.

While the original PC release from Fall '07 was marketed as a serious shooter, the console version's marketing has taken a slightly different approach, hence our silly headline. The Xbox 360 and PS3 version of Enemy Territory: Quake Wars lands at retail on May 27.

I have to say, the new marketing campaign... is obnoxious enough to kill what little interest I had previously.

I actually really enjoyed the ad. I'm very tired of each game having overly serious commercials. I thought this was different and fun. Obviously its not everyones cup of tea, but its worth a laugh.

Also, love it or hate, it has been successful because it is generating a lot of discussion and therefore exposure for Quake.

Yeah i really liked the ad. Shame the game isint as fun as the ad. Maybe ill rent it.

Wow- just watched that add. Good. Liked it... The song in it was from the Quake II soundtrack; it's called "Action".

This game is the bomb, and I would definitely have sex with it if I could.

Dont get suckered into this game, STAY AWAY. This game looked amazing from all the videos and trailers I saw when it came out on the PC. The game loses its cool factor after playing it for about an hour. After that it aint no fun, the controls are horrible, targeting is off. STAY AWAY!!!!
