Epic's Capps will keynote Leipzig, talk GoW2

It has come to our attentive attention that Epic Games president Michael Capps will have the honor of doing the keynote presentation on August 18th at this year's GC Developer's Conference in Leipzig, Germany. Not all that exciting of news if it wasn't for the fact that Capps' speech will include a discussion about Gears of War 2 and its development progress. Yum! That said, we may be full to the brim with GoW2 details, visual goodness and info that is expected to come from July's E3 conference. Wait, what are we saying? We can never have too much Gears, bring on the August Capps!

I think Epic are a bunch of A**holes for being so smug. Every time they make a new game they act as though they have just "reinvented the wheel" and wont let anyone know a damn thing about it. They need to get over themselves, stop trying to mind F#$K everyone and give to people that pay there way through life a little bit more respect by giving out some infomation on there titles. You cant even release a screen shot? Give me a break. Sure I'll buy it because I loved gears but I'll be damned if i'm gonna lose any sleep because of there over inflated ego's.

Or...maybe they are smart people who take the creative process seriously and don't allow for themselves to commit to anything until the product is complete. If I was creating a game, movie, music, etc., I would be careful not to say anything specific - like the saying "Don't count your chickens before they hatch".

I see wut u r saying Jason, give me some details, the games is 6 months away and all we got is updated engine (typical), updated graphics (u better), new enemies (well i killed Ram like 10 times already so i think he is dead).
Heres what i want to know, do you get to play as the chancelor dude in multiplayer, or maybe as maria in multiplayer, why not have a chick, show me some gameplay footage.
But you guys do a great job and i dont think your A**HOLES, i just think you could give more info like Jason is saying.
