Fanswag Weekly: McFarlane Halo 3 Ghost

For the next few weeks, Fanswag Weekly will be super duper special. So special that we can guarantee all Halo 3 fanboys and toy enthusiasts alike will have the uncontrollable desire to smile for weeks on end. Oh yeah, it's that good.

Thanks to the generosity of the folks over at installation 05, we're giving away three McFarlane Halo 3 Series 1 vehicles over the next few weeks, including a Warthog, a Brute Chopper and a Ghost. Today, we're kicking off the giveaway fun by offering up everyone's favorite purple vehicle of death, a Ghost, which comes complete with a crazy amount of "sexy" and "cool". Only one lucky fanboy can win this purple death machine, so we advise entering the giveaway stat! How do you enter? Simple. Just follow the directions below ...

Halo 3's Ghosts are nothing to mess with, especially when in the hands of a skilled Spartan. So, to enter this week's giveaway, comment on this post telling us what your all time best Halo 3 Ghost killing spree was.
You can leave one comment per calendar day, but posters of multiple comments during the same day will be disqualified. We'll accept entries until Friday, May 2 at 12:00pm noon eastern time. You must be at least 18 years old to enter. This giveaway is open only to residents of the U.S. and Canada (excluding Quebec).
On Friday, we'll pick one winner via a random drawing
One winner will receive a McFarlane Halo 3 Ghost vehicle worth $10.

my favorite was when i was jacking a ghost and my spartans ass splattered a guy as the ghost was attempting to jet away, free kill and a jack :D

I got the killing frenzy achievement (10 in a row) with the ghost. People were really hating on me by the end of that game.

Hopping off a ghost and jumping on phantom tank and punching the shit out of it til it blew to hell, then I did the same to the two tanks nearby only to be taken out by a miserable brute chopper! Im like Lobo on that bitch.

i believe that the most memorable kill spree on a ghost, was an incredible 3 splatters in a row, mere seconds from one another. yeaha!

I got stuck in a lift on High Ground in the cave...my ghost just bounced and bounced...I jumped out, stuck a dude with a plasma, threw another lift up and jumped over to my ghost, just as it was falling....fell on top of another dude, splattered him and off I went :-)

In Team Deathmatch, on average, I rack up about 4-5 kills before being kicked for being "totally pwn-tastic" as some call me. Other people sometimes call it team killing, though. Whatever that is.

I once got 8 splatter sprees in a row on Isolation with the ghost.

I can't find the actual link... but needless to say, the game glitched somehow. I got a legit splatter spree and then every kill I got from there on out counted as a splatter spree. Even when I got off the ghost and killed a player with my Assault Rifle.

To be blunt, I'm not very good at Halo 3, I think my highest rank is a 14. But in my days of Halo, I have had a few good runs with the Ghost.

I know once a few of my friends and I were playing, and I managed to splatter them each a few times before I was finally tagged with a plasma.

Now that I think about it, the story isn't that cool. But the memories are unforgettable.
