WRUP: three guesses edition

You know, this week it might be more productive if only the those who aren't playing Grand Theft Auto IV post what they're playing. Honestly, if our friends list is any indication, there aren't many of you out there. Yes, even Dustin, our resident Halo 3 fanboy, has been sucked into the sweet embrace of GTAIV. Whatever the case, as usual, we are required to ask: what will you be playing this weekend? Forget what we said about only commenting if you're not playing GTAIV, though. Go ahead and proclaim it, loud and proud.

On my non-GTA to-play list:

Finish guitar on Hard on Rock Band (seeing as I got stuck on the last song on Expert).
Perhaps some Forza.
Perhaps some Culdcept.
And maybe some Mario Kart with the wife.

I love the gaming community and video games in general... but this player is not into GTA4.

A hard-R world of drugs, prostitutes, thugs & whacking civilians, not my idea of play.

I'm not saying you're all wrong, but if anyone out there has said, not my thing, you have company.

I'll probably finish Portal... I know... way behind...!

Just picked up GTA lastnight, wasn't blown away by it, but I'll probably be playing that this weekend.

I agree man, I thought I was the only one who thinks this game just doesn't live up to the perfect scores it has been getting. Not that it's a bad game, but there is nothing particularly WOW about it that should make every reviewer flip out and give it a 10/10 for. The detail is truly amazing yeah, but there are things about the gameplay that are really annoying (auto-aim, general movement feels lagged and unresponsive, etc) and while the game is fun, just not the game I was led to believe by so many reviewers.

Anyhow, I'll be playing Halo3, COD4, and maybe some GTA single player.

I feel the exact same way. been playing GTA quite a bit since it came out (25%) and COD4 feels quite neglected, but I try to get on it as much as possible

one man army cheev' was pretty easy just cruising in the heli for a while. was that the trick you used, joey?

i know im not joey, but i just walked over the border to the next island then ran back to my car and cruised around the freeway for five minutes.

a friend of mine just jumped on the train tracks and the police seemed to leave him alone :S wierd.

Just picked up COD4-GOTY with the free maps, So i'll be breaking them in, old school. Split screen with my brother. Fists will fly and there will be bruised shoulders.

I'm going to try and beat Dark Sector and assains creed ASAP, so i can go trade them in for GTA IV lol....cause i'm broke, and thos games aren't worth hanging onto, not to mention i should get a decent amount for both of them....but yah, get the achievments for 'em and then hopefully some GTA....
