This week in Community Content we bring your an Avalanche map variant that adds a touch more of Sidewinder into the mix. Cottonball is vehicular mayhem at its best with twice as many rides equaling twice as much carnage for Big Team or Objective based gametypes.
Perfect for Capture the Flag, Assault or a high scoring Team Deathmatch, Cottonball is a minimalist approach to Community Content is a whole lot of fun to play. Check it out!

Cottonball
Map: Avalanche (Legendary Map Pack Required)
Gametype: Team Slayer, CTF, Assault
Players: 8-16
Details from the Creator
Cottonball yes we are creative and used the B-Net code name, is a vehicular based map that's great for CTF, Big Team Slayer, and Neutral Assault. After playing Avalanche my partner RAGE AGR and I got sick of the middle shortcut, which made the map too easy. We wanted more of a stalemate and also felt the horseshoe part of the map was not being used.
X3F Recommends
While this map includes a neutral bomb variant we recommend you try it out with any number of different gametypes. The open areas and blocked path of the center indoor area turn Cottonball into a great vehicle-based objective map.

What happened to the actual machinima parts! I miss them!
Richard Mitchell @ May 5th 2008 10:59AM
We haven't quit the machinima. We've had some trouble getting the recordings together lately, but they'll be coming back.
Right, Xav?
I mean, it's not like your job depends on it or anything...
