Disturbed offers 'Indestructible' Rock Band DLC

Beginning this Sunday, May 4th for Disturbed's upcoming album "Indestructible" which hits stores on June 3rd, Best Buy will be offering two free Rock Band DLC downloads with an "Indestructible" pre-order. Album pre-orderers will be given a redemption code that'll allow for the download of both Disturbed's "Indestructible" and "Inside the Fire" Rock Band tracks. Currently, BestBuy.com has a placeholder page for the special offer which will officially go live tomorrow. So, if you're interested in two Disturbed DLC downloads and the band's CD, then set your bookmark and get in on it come Sunday.

How much does it cost to pre-order? If it's less than full price, I might do this just to get the RB tracks and skip the album.

The Pre-Order page is up now @ the price is only $11.99 now AND you aren't supposed to be charged until AFTER the CD ships.. so that's cool.

Ditto, nothing yet for me, it says at the bottom of the page:
"Bonus tracks can be downloaded from the Xbox Live site after you receive e-mail instructions. If you have previously opted out of our marketing e-mails, you will not receive the download instructions."
I don't think I have anything like that setup.. So I dunno

both sites say different things, one says order it and they'll send you the codes and the other one says they'll send them to you at a later date. i just wanna know which one i need to believe. also, june 3rd is the release of the album itself, is there a possibility that the songs' release will coincide with the album release? i mean it seems likely.

come to think of it, it makes sense that they wouldn't allow you to download the songs before the CD came out. Best Buy's policy on pre-orders is that you can cancel anytime before the item ships, so if you got the code and used it before you got the CD you COULD cancel it and screw them out of money. Chances are we're not gonna see this DLC until June 3rd, when the CD comes out.

That is very sad if true and won't counteract piracy. most people will now wait until june 3rd, download album for free (probably before the 3rd) and buy rockband songs separately, no matter how much they like disturbed. If they allowed no cancellations and gave codes now they might have a viable way of giving the recording industry a boost in sales. Any updates to receiving the e-mails would be appreciated.

i agree, but still i love this freakin' band (my favorite band) so it doesn't bother me if i have to wait. the e-mail still hasn't come for me, so i'm assuming the wait will be long.

Still waiting for email also...I managed to send best buy customer support a email wondering whats going on with these songs but im still waiting on a response...should be in a day or so...i will keep you guys posted

I think that they should give us the code ahead of time but not let us redeem until a certain date, kinda like they did with Crackdown and Halo 3.

According to all knowing Wiki, the tracks are scheduled for a June 3rd release.

According to a Harmonix Developer at the Rock Band forums. You will be able to buy the tracks on Xbox Live or for the PS3 on 6/03/08. so you don't have to buy the cd to get the tracks. http://www.rockband.com/forums/showthread.php?t=48694

Called Best Buy today. If you preodered the CD, you can return it to a local store. Your card will be refunded. Looks like I'll be returning the CD once it arrives.

I'm having the same problem. I've gotten the CD, but not the code for the songs. It's really annoying to know that about half the people have got them, and half haven't. I'm about to just buy the songs anyways and say screw best buy. It would only be two dollars anyways. Anyways, post here again if you find anything out.
