After the
new shots of the game that appeared lat week,
Vigilante 8 Arcade was looking quite finished. In a dev update on their website, it was
revealed that the game is in pre-certification and that the devs are expecting an early June release date, but that the final date will be up to Microsoft. Also, while there were no details at all given, it was confirmed that
V8 Arcade will have some form of DLC in it's future. Given the type of game that this is it's almost a guarantee that the Marketplace will play host to new characters and cars, allowing for even more vehicular insanity.

I can't wait. Or, at least, I won't be able to once I finish GTAIV and have my fill of its multiplayer.
Nevermind, I'll never play another game again, heh.

I so hope that they allow cheats in this. The cheats were cool because the affected everybody. If you unlocked rapid fire, everyone would have it....and if another guy happened to be playing as Torque or Convoy, it lead to some awesome physics.
And they better not be leaving out the secret characters as DLC. That would be a bitch move.

I agree about the secretes, I loved the super powerful, homing mortar shots :D

By secretes I meant cheats...

Alternate fire modes of weapons are not cheats Homer 918.
They said that the weapon alternates would definitely be in this remake. So you can fire all the Turtle Turnover and Crater Maker mortar shots that you want.
I don't really care if the actual cheats are available in the game. For multiplayer they might be kind of fun to mess around with but back when I used to play V8 I never even played with the cheats, normal play was better imo. The only one that was kind of cool was big wheels.
