Rumor: Bionic Commando Rearmed this Wednesday

Last week didn't see any kind of XBLA release due to the massive popularity of GTA IV, but now that that particular sales storm has passed, what is the next release for the Live Arcade? Common sense might say that it'd be Happy Tree Friends: False Alarm, given that it was pushed back into May. And that still might be possible as XBLA games can release in pairs. However the Australian site PALGN has Bionic Commando Rearmed set for a 05/07/2008 release, so if they're right we might be seeing that one sooner than we thought we would have. We certainly haven't heard anything else about this week's XBLA release ....

I'd rather they delay it, I'm still too busy with GTA. Just release a bunch of junk so I don't have to be disappointed by it when I'm done with GTA.

.... As one of the few people who has absolutely no interest in GTA, I have to say, I would LOVE it if BCR released this week. Multiplayer off-line play ahoy! This would easily make up for the lack of game last week, and the boredom I received from Lost Cities, which I honestly might have liked more at 400 points... from the demo, it just feels so utterly bare-bones.

Wits & Wagers confirmed for this week, no Bionic Commando Rearmed....

Wits & Wagers got a very positive review from OXM - and it's about time a You Don't Know Jack game arrived.

Of course, I'd love to see YDKJ itself...

Ok, my commentary is a little harsh, lol. W&W just isn't the kind of thing I have an initial interest in playing on my 360 (or... any game system), and to hear it's the only release of the week, when it could have been something like Bionic Commando Rearmed... it's just a bit of a downer! XD I'll give the demo a try, I'm not entirely against it, so no worries...

I played YDKJ on PC years ago... It was fun enough. Just not the kinda things I can get hyped towards having on a game system, lol. Maybe if they made trivia games that focused on gaming history and factoids...

Well, no, it's not coming out this week. Gamerscoreblog announced this weeks title as Wits & Wagers. But, it is rumored to come out NEXT week, though I wonder if it really would be released right alongside Assault Heroes 2 and the Rocketmen expansion, all also said to come out next week as well.
