Back in March, we
learned that the train based board game
Ticket to Ride was chugging its way to the XBLA thanks to an entry on German's video game ratings board website. Now, thanks to the
Gamerscore Blog, we get a few more details, albeit very little. Details including confirmation that
Ticket to Ride will be releasing to the XBLA sometime this Summer, will allow for five player versus over Xbox Live, four player versus locally and will have Vision camera support. We're also told that
Ticket to Ride provides "hours of family-friendly fun", but we think that's too subjective of a feature to mention.

Awesome board game. Will definitely be picking this one up when it hits.

Team Xbox had a preview on it a few days back, I don't know offhand if it has anything different in it, however.

It is a great game, but I personally can't get into these "board games on XBLA"

Another solid European board game. It wouldn't be my first choice, I'd rather have Thurn and Taxis.
Still, I hope they keep coming out with more of these.

How is local multiplayer going to work? This game has 'hidden information' in that your cards should not be public knowledge. Are they just going to show them? I don't mind personally I'm willing to put up with that loss for the ability to play with my friends in the same room!

as a owner of both the european and us versions of the board game, i'm very excited about this

Maybe they tap out the secret info in Morse Code on your controller's rumble? Or speak it to you over your headset?
Or, you know, just show everybody. I wish the hell they'd at least give you that option in Catan.

When exactly is this game going to be coming out for sure?
