Community Content: Back at Blackout Edition

Each week, X3F showcases the best in Halo 3 downloads with Community Content. To find out how to set up your Bungie.net account, click here. Submit your own ideas at: comcon [AT] xbox360fanboy [DOT] com

This week in Community Content we bring you a subtle change to Blackout. Blackout is supposed to represent isolation from the outside world. Fighting for survival on a floating oil rig, you must fend off your foes and achieve the maximum body count to come out on top. This week's content, Juicy Blackdome, changes the map on its head by removing the majority of the maps power weapons and creating a new perch for players to "rain down" the doom.

Due to technical difficulties, no video walkthrough for this weeks content is provided. Apologizes!

Juicy Blackdome
Map: Blackout (Legendary Map Pack Required)

Gametype: Slayer, Team Slayer

Players: 4-12

Juicy Blackdome changes almost nothing about Blackout except for one key area. In the center of the map a new perch has been formed where a team or single slayer can reign fire and brimstone to the players below. With a single teleporter transporting players to and from the peak of the structure, players are invited to stand their ground on the highest point in the map.

Standing at the peak has its disadvantages. Players are unable to jump, as an invisible wall ends that idea. Ammo is scare, so camping may not be a wise move and while it may be a strategy to stand over the exit of the teleporter to disable it for foes below, it's placed in a far and very visible corner of the structure.

By cutting down the already small fighting ground of Blackout, Juicy Blackdome created a tight and suspenseful environment that won't be easy to survive!

Map: Juicy Blackdome (File #8)
