Hellboy: Science of Evil: new screens and video

We love Hellboy. There's no way around it really. From his square jaw to his stone fist to his glowing eyes, he really the most likable son of the devil we've ever known. Seeing as we like him so much, we really want Hellboy: Science of Evil to be a good game. We'll have to wait and see if that actually happens. These new screens look decent enough, but the video looks ... okay. We're keeping our hopes as low as possible. With any luck, we'll be pleasantly surprised. Those videos have FAIL written all over them. You just can't see it. Cuz it's invisible....

I'll definitely avoid that game like the palgue though. Looks really repetitive and generic.

Given the property, there is so much potential for good Hellboy games. Unfortunately, this doesn't seem to fulfill that potential. Hellboy is a smart, witty comic series, and it deserves better.

They need to make a Hellboy game that isn't based off of the movie.

And what's up with the cheesy one-liners? Ugly alert? Why are these type of games always plagued with really bad dialouge????

Ron Pearlman's voice sounds so generic and flat coming out of the in-game character.

At least the game has some interesting characters and some nice visuals going on. I might have to try the demo for this if they release one. Definitely not a $60 purchase though.

I smell bargain bin.
