After all
the issues that surrounded the game's closed beta, all online players will be able to try it for themselves come the beginning of June. For those who pre-ordered the game though, the demo will be available May 29, presumably via a download code. Some of the major issues in the beta were of course the much discussed purchasable weapons, as well as a few graphical issues. With
the demo being seen by far more eyes than the beta, EA needs to make sure that they can show something that won't disappoint those who try it.
Battlefield: Bad Company's combined single and multiplayer demo will be live for public download on June 5.

There were so many issues with the beta. I'll be on this game like white on rice (I said it) if they addressed all of them, but I highly doubt that's the case. Excited for the demo, anyway.
MrMuggs @ May 21st 2008 12:22AM
I'm in agreement. I think they'll address very few of the issues from the beta.
Additionally, if they still have the limited 4 person team chat then I'm definitely not buying it.

You never really feel happy until you throw a grenade with a smiley face on it! =D

They lost my money with the pay-for-weapons, then earned my ire with the marketing-campaign-for-weapons. Then again, the demo might be so ridiculously awesome that I just have to buy the game, but I doubt it since they've already angered me to such an extent.
NukeAssault @ May 21st 2008 12:41PM
Yeah, i read it some time ago. I dont recall where exactly. I i find it ill let you know.
NukeAssault @ May 21st 2008 12:54AM
They didint fix any of the stuff i cared about... but i guess ill give it another try.
Digital Limit @ May 21st 2008 2:42AM
Wait, they listed their fixes? 'cause that'd answer my above concerns.

Burnout Paradise, Army of Two, were crappy games that EA released this year. I don't think this will be worth my $60 for June. Think I'll buy Grid instead, since Need for Speed Prostreet really sucked last year. (no cop chases? so, so, graphics? race day event achievements? )Thanks EA, but no thanks.

DICE made this game, I'm pretty certain it will atleast be above average. Don't be an ignornat twat. Not buying a game because of the PUBLISHER is stupid.
shatzmcpants @ May 21st 2008 3:49AM
I never played the beta, but DICE has always released pretty good games, so im excited for this demo.

Can't wait.

Good thing I didn't actually ready this post. Apparently EA is going to start charging 50 MS Points per viewing of any blog related to an EA product. Great business model.
googoogachoo @ May 21st 2008 11:04AM
I'd rather EA come out with Black 2.

I'll be sticking with Battlefield 2 on the PC for now...
WarriorDyke @ May 21st 2008 12:15PM
