Nothing for me for the umpteenth week in a row.
I think I was spoiled in the first few months after launch or something, because I haven't been excited over an DLC since the Nine Inch Nails pack.
I've bought a few things but have seen zero "I MUST HAVE THAT!"s for quite a while now.
Kizzle @ May 21st 2008 2:45AM
That should be "any DLC" but I'm liking the concept of referring to content as "an DLC."
For example, "I want to download an DLC, but I'm not going near horse armor."

This is almost as excellent as the Boston pack, but I fear that some of the songs here are going to chart synthesizers. Anyone who has played that one Boston track with the organ solo knows what I mean.

I haven't kept up with DLC since the Boston Pack.
Any great songs that I've missed? Any from this pack in particular?

Amazing band more of their stuff needs to be in RB they recently got a track pack for GH3.

How convenient. Another "full CD" that's only 9 tracks. And why post the Cars Greatest Hits CD cover to tease us, Terrance? There's three songs from this album that I remember, so I might just get those three instead of the entire album.

I thought there were only 3 that I knew also, but there are actually 6, the names didn't click at first.
HazyCloud @ May 21st 2008 9:20AM
I "streamed" this album recently to give it a go before the tracks were released. I was very surprised to know about half of the songs. This and the Boston pack will make a great Rock Band party.

Nice, but would have liked to have seen the following too:
Let's Go
Touch and Go
Shake it Up
You Might Think
Drive
Magic
Hello Again
Tonight She Comes
Maybe they're splitting up the actual GH album into two parts?
Does anyone know the business model for how the bands get paid for permission to use their songs in RB? Is it a one-time fee per title? Royalties on each download? Both?
DBoyFlex @ May 21st 2008 10:06AM
I agree with you. I would have loved to see these songs too. The complete greatest hits was a long CD, but taking a few from the first and a few from here, that would have been a sweet DLC pack.
Alan Perry @ May 21st 2008 10:00AM
I am way psyched about this album being released! I only wish it really was the Cars greatest hits album that's pictured... Oh well, still a great album!
Tony @ May 21st 2008 10:38AM
This is easily their best album and the songs you don't remember on it are all excellent. If you like The Cars at all it's not disappointing.
As for everyone else, sorry lol. There's weeks I don't want anything either. They can't please everyone every week.
Bryan T @ May 21st 2008 1:25PM
Argh, I saw the album cover and thought "I am buying Hello Again".
Alas, I am kind of dissappointed.
Still a couple good songs though, much better than what has been released in recent weeks IMO.
The BS Police @ May 22nd 2008 2:16AM
Every song on this album is worth the purchase, this is the best New Wave album to ever be released, let alone it kickstarted the New Wave movement.
Every song on this album was a hit, 6 of them were radio hits.

I think its fucking shocking
Americans are paying what $160 for RB
While us in the uk have to pay £180 which is over half the fucking price of what it is in US
Wheres the fucking justice
Im waiting for GH4
