In The Falcon, two teams face off where one controls the flag found in the ship suspended in the air while the other attempts to make their way inside to capture the cloth.
Adding multiple weapons and nearly every type of vehicle, The Falcon is a map that will have your adrenaline pumping while waiting for the next round to begin.

The Falcon
Map: Avalanche (Legendary Map Pack Required)
Gametype: Capture the Flag, Team Slayer
Players: 4-12
Details from the Creator
The defenders spawn inside of the spaceship and must defend their flag. Sounds simple right? Wrong! There are so many entrances for the attackers to go through, plus the attackers have a lot of weapons, but so do the defenders. There are many exits in this ship, so the defenders can go on a killing spree, but at the cost of leaving their flag behind unguarded. The defenders get many weapons and vehicles, but so do the attackers, making this a pretty even battle. The attackers spawn about 50 yards away from the ship. so there is fast-paced action! Have fun! I hope you enjoy The Falcon!!
X3F Says
While the map is designed for CTF it can also be a high scoring Team Slayer map. Team up and attempt to survive the onslaught of attacking enemies. For bonus fun, try setting up an Infection type where one Zombie starts in the Snow and survivors hold off inside The Falcon!

This is one of the few ship maps that is actually playable, and that is actually, really, really fun. Great job on the creators!

Mr.U2 @ May 23rd 2008 9:14PM
Lol, can you say PS3 fanboy?
Jack @ May 23rd 2008 9:45PM
Sorry. No news over at PS3fanboy board?
rnr @ May 23rd 2008 9:47PM
desperate aren't you? I don't know what you are saying except that you are a type of fanboy that gives fanboys a bad name.
Raheem @ May 24th 2008 11:46AM
That's funny coz I couldn't see past the washed out colours and piss poor control pad when I played the PS3 version - bleh.
Digital Limit @ May 23rd 2008 9:25PM
Wait, you only covered one way into the ship. Do you need a hornet to get into it? Seems kind of lame if that's the case.
Xav de Matos @ May 23rd 2008 9:41PM
The point in the video when I jump out of the tank and go through the teleporter brings you into the ship as well. Maybe it's not noticeable because of the edit but there was that way in as well.
Digital Limit @ May 23rd 2008 11:08PM
Ah, thanks for the infos. I'll have to try the map out.
On another note, why hasn't the e-mail been fixed for when I get replies to my comments? I get the hyperlink as follows: http://xbox.joystiq.com/2008/05/23/community-content-sky-high-edition/comments/12291531/
But that doesn't take me anywhere. I always have to cut off the "comments" part to fix it.
JohnHeist @ May 23rd 2008 9:40PM
That's insane, for how long they play I hope anybody that still plays Halo 3 downloads it.
Josh @ May 23rd 2008 10:06PM
I don't understand why people keep going on about how "people don't play Halo 3 anymore". Do they ever look at stats? There is 150,000-350,000 people on at any given time. Granted, that is nothing compared to the first night of Halo 3 when I saw the number hit 850,000 but that is still a shitload of people. Get over it, Halo is still popular.
Andrew @ May 23rd 2008 10:15PM
Agreed. Being the 3rd most played game on XBL does not mean that nobody plays it anymore.
I've moved onto COD4, GTAIV, and RSV2, but it still pisses me off whenever someone goes into a Halo 3 story and shouts, "Nobody plays Halo 3 anymore!!!11!!" because that's clearly false.
erivera3 @ May 24th 2008 4:45PM
I agree, Halo 3, and the Halo franchise in general, will stand the test of time when all other games are collecting dust on the shelf. Halo has always been number 1 in my heart, even when I'm playing Gears or COD4, Halo is just that perfect fun time, that lan party with friends, that saved film, that special grenade stick, and so many other classic memories that I'll never forget.
whocares @ May 24th 2008 12:24AM
Halo 3 will kick ass for a long time. There are always hundreds of thousends of people playing it. The only people who moan about it are ps3 fanboys who have to release their anger on the hit and (mostly) miss news they get on their site.
Obviously some 360 fans dont enjoy it either, but they have other games to recommend and compare it to.
I wish the PS3 rocked as much as that game alone but at the moment it just doesn't.
Adam B @ May 24th 2008 12:58PM
That map is amazing.
Momer @ May 24th 2008 1:52PM
Xav is obsessed with Critical Mood, lol.
