Ninja Gaiden II is gold, spattered with red

Microsoft and Tecmo today announced that the whirlwind of blood and errant body parts known as Ninja Gaiden II has gone gold. In other words, the game is completely and totally finished and only awaits pressing and packaging before copies are whisked to retailers everywhere on June 3. The press release also announces that the remaining promotional Ask a Ninja episodes will arrive on Xbox Live Marketplace on May 27, June 3 and June 10, so keep an eye out for those. Finally, a documentary entitled The Way of the Warrior: Ninja Gaiden II, which will air on Cablevision IO Digital on May 30. The documentary will also be made available on XBLM starting June 10. The documentary focuses on "the history of the ninja and how it impacted the game" and purports to feature "members of Team Ninja, historical areas of Japan, real life ninjas and exclusive looks at behind-the-scenes footage."

Strangely absent in the press release is any mention of the playable demo that's supposed to drop sometime this month.

Itagaki confirmed that the demo is finished and has already been sent to Microsoft for approval.

LMAO...they just released GTA IV so I'm sure they're almost finished with GTA V and running into space issues...idiot. As for Uncharted...I thought the benefit of Blu-ray was so that games could be so much longer than a game that could fit on a DVD? The game's only 8 - 10 hours max...but yea...Blu-ray is sooooo needed.

Oblivion fit on the 360 dvd, Lost Odyssey took 3 disks but who cares.. we got more RPGs and better RPGs right now than the PS3.

Haze sucked, not the halo killer you PS3 fanboys thought it to be.

I would go over to the ps3 fanboy site to make fun of it, but I don't want to seem like a desperate fanboy.

Um... God Of War never took skill.. I beat that game in like, 2 days. I STILL cant beat Ninja Gaiden on the hardest setting. Have fun waiting till next year for a God Of War game... We'll be enjoying

I've come to the conclusion that people that make fun of Halo 3 fall into one or more of these categories:

1. They're just a retarded Sony fanboy that hate anything Microsoft related and are jealous. This definitely fits you and your girlfriend "Mr. Balance".
2. They've never played Halo 3 but hate it because it's popular and it's a 360 exclusive.
3. They tried going online and playing but they just got absolutely pwned and it scarred them for life.

God of War was good, but lacked any variety. There was one good weapon. NG and NGB has tons of great weapons. And NG2 is supposed to have 8 weapons. NG have more variety than God of War ever did. Though, GoWs story was definitely better. But in terms of gameplay, there is no comparision, NG kicks GoWs ass.

oh and btw, metal gear will never get ported to the 360.. there are way to many cut scenes. a dvd cant hold all the info, thell need to prob be like 15 dvds for a metal gear port.. Ninja Gaiden 2 is being published by Microsoft. The only way this appears on the PS3 is if Sony buys Microsoft. I wouldn't hold my breath for it.

NG2 will be on the PS3. Just like every quality 360 game.

Gears of War will be on the PS3
Mass Effect is all but guaranteed for the PS3

The only game that you won't see is Halo 3 and who cares for that mediocre disappointing garbage anyway.

MS cannot keep a quality title exclusive on its system to save its life, they just don't care like Sony/Nintendo does.

They are the whores of the console business, everyone can have a piece of thier action.

As long as you have a PS3/PC/Wii you won't miss a thing and you will get the superior versions.

The 360 is irrelevant beyond being a beta test machine for the real versions of these games that come out on other platforms 6-12 months later.

It pains me to say this because I really am a 360 fanboy, but the writing is on the wall.

Learn how to do Math. Blu-Ray is 50GB, 1 DVD is 9 GB. At most MGS would require 5 DVDs. Plus, if you strip out all the Localized content, and use some compression, MGS4 could fit on 3 DVDs. No big deal, totally do able. Probably not going to happen, but its technically possible.

Wow thats all i gotta say.The sony boys have a reason to feel threatened.They touted 08 was the year of the delaystation3.Now half there games were delayed once again and there getting a movie called mgs4 and they got a wannabe halo knockoff.Things just arent going there way.

Gears of ware 2 own resistance in graphics and gameplay.Gears will be the benchmark for graphics for atleast 2 years till the 360 knock another one out of the park.

so you have a few shit games coming and your excited i mean we cant take people seriouse when they consider uncharted an awesome game.The whole game looked like plastic and the game was 10 hours long.I beat uncharted while i was on the toilet.
