Red vs Blue: Reconstruction episode one is go
Having teased the new series early last month, Rooster Teeth has finally launched the new offshoot of Red vs Blue, Reconstruction. The first episode, entitled "Reconstructed," is now available, with future episodes planned every Monday. The first episode eschews the traditional humor found in the Red vs Blue series in favor of some rather extensive exposition. From the looks of things though, we're expecting a return to form in episode two. Sharp-eyed viewers will notice that the video takes a dip into the Halo 2 engine near the end of the episode, and several characters from original series are mentioned as well. Whatever happens, you can bet we'll be keeping an eye out for episode two next week.

Please explain how news about a rather overrated machinima enhances or informs me about my XBox 360 gaming experience.
Ten Dolla Bill @ May 27th 2008 10:46AM
Dude get over yourself, you don't even own a 360 yet and as far as I can tell all you seem to do is come on here and make pessimistic comments to make yourself feel good.
The site reports on anything and everything 360 related so if you don't like it why not hop back over to your WoWfanboy site and never come back.
Ian @ May 27th 2008 11:05AM
What console was the video made on? What game is it made with? Oh, right. Its made on a 360 with Halo 3. Thats what it has to do with the 360.

Treima,
Please explain how you are coerced or forced into visiting this blog site and reading articles that fail to interest you.
Or...to really make my day, explain how your bitching here, due to your own bias, improves or enhances my
XBOX360 gaming experience.

Oh I don't know, something about a group of guys from Texas who started to film an Xbox game and now make their *entire* living doing so. Now they're producing a video series created on Xbox 360s using an Xbox 360 game that also happens to be one of the best selling games of all time.
Seems relevant to me.
If you've got a hate-on for RvB that's fine, but don't act like it's irrelevant to the thousands of people that like it.
Treima @ May 27th 2008 11:04AM
I don't own a 360 yet, but I've watched RvB many times and it's been nothing short of a waste of time for me.
Obviously you skimmed my profile page, but you lack context. I dislike 80s pop bands, silly peripherals that are made purely to milk the cash cow of a popular game franchise, and bad machinima. That's what's been in the news the past 24 hours, so that's what I commented on.
P.S. It's not called WoWFanboy.
Knight Marquise @ May 27th 2008 11:33AM
Treima,
So, because of the list of things you dislike, no news/blog sites are allowed to post about them, regardless of the fact that they are relevant?
You're being a turd stain. Obviously Halo is the largest franchise on the MS platform, anything Halo related belongs on a blog called Xbox360fanboy.
After all, it's not called wowfanboy.
Perhaps you should go back to bed and when you get up....try the other side this time around.

-1 for Treima.
BananaBoat @ May 27th 2008 6:42PM
I'm really hoping they bring the comedy back, and that they aren't seriously trying to create some sort of drama mini-series.
Oh and when you feed the troll, it just keeps coming back.
zombienutz @ May 27th 2008 10:54AM
I had to turn to YouTube to watch the video because RvB's website won't load. Finding a an episode that has not been pulled on YouTube is also a task.
It is cool to see the show back. I hope it is able to maintain itself through another season/spin-off. Thanks for the heads up on this Richard.
Dixonij @ May 27th 2008 1:23PM
Reason why its so hard to find an episode of it is because currently, the series has only been released to sponsors at RvB's website.
Gemini Ace @ May 27th 2008 12:37PM
I think RvB jumped the shark. I mean, did they ever finish the series that was appearing on the marketplace?
Consistency, guys! That's the key to staying relevant.
mattclarkie @ May 27th 2008 1:36PM
Yeah they did. The clip of wash being shot was from the end of episode 4 of the mini-series.
mattclarkie @ May 27th 2008 1:34PM
The production values were really high, but I have come to expect that from RoosterTeeth lately.
Lots of easter eggs in there for people that have seen all the episodes and spin-offs. Well by lots I mean 2.
Roll-on number 2.
mattclarkie @ May 27th 2008 1:35PM
Yeah they did. The clip of wash being shot was from the end of episode 4 of the mini-series.
