first!
RyanBlack @ May 28th 2008 4:41PM
I highly doubt the 360 version will look anything close to that though
Trekster_Gamer @ May 28th 2008 6:09PM
I bet it looks close, given some of the 360 footage we have seen it does not look far off from this.
carterk @ May 28th 2008 6:44PM
Sweet!! For graphics whores like myself this video looks like a dream. Now I know beauty is only skin deep so the gameplay always needs to be on par with the presentation. This game is going to be multi platform so hopefully if one version has an advantage I find out (on the 360 or PS3, sorry PC's are for old timers) before I impatiently buy the game on the release date. I've got my fingers crossed and $60 set aside on this one.
Magic Whiskey @ May 28th 2008 6:41PM
Nothing within the video looked un-doable for the 360. Looks great so far!
Mr.ESC @ May 28th 2008 6:52PM
OH sweet.
adam @ May 28th 2008 6:57PM
That looks better than the kz2 videos for sure.I hope it really looks that good on 360.
DBoyFlex @ May 28th 2008 7:38PM
I sure hope it doesn't ship with as many bugs as Instincts Predator did for the 360.
Deck @ May 28th 2008 7:55PM
Something else to add to the Radar!
It is looking good! Hopefully we see some more actual gameplay soon!

I only hope that they make the engine more efficent with PC hardware than crysis. I know it's a different engine than Crysis or whatever but a lot of the effects are the same, minus the fire... which looked so cool I really couldn't believe it. I played Crysis on pretty high settings and loved it, but would have loved have to have played it maxed.
Oh is this xbox360fanboy.com? Well, I'm sure the 360 version will get along as well and if there is something awesome about the 360 version that the PC doesn't have I'll get it there. I do think that it's sweet that they are squeezing so much out of the 360 hardware.

Before I say my bit (and you know my bit is coming), I'd just like to ask why developers think the sun is able to completely blind you if you look at it? I can go out and look at it right now, and while that would be terrible for my eyesight, I'd still be able to see the sky etc /endrant
I've got high hopes for this game. If this turns out to be African Crysis though, I'll be pretty dissapointed. I hope they've got the story perfected, as it seems they've got the graphics pretty nailed down at this point. Here's hoping guys, here's hoping.
Arnon @ May 29th 2008 1:26AM
usually when you look into the sun, you just see a ball and in that ball is a black ball circling around in it. They should do that.
Clinton @ May 29th 2008 2:11AM
When I was a dumbass and 12 I stared at the sun what what seemed like an eternity. 17 years later, still have my eyesight but definitely would not recommend anyone to do the same in order to compare sunlight fidelity in their games.
Boff @ May 29th 2008 11:22AM
I'm all about the sunlight fidelity in my games.
Lazy programmers.
;o)
frenchfried89 @ May 30th 2008 4:43AM
I wish that that just make this a third person semi-stealth open world game with a great story. That would give 360 owners something to throw at mgs4
