Microsoft recently
announced that G4 TV has added a part of their television lineup to the U.S.
Video Marketplace, of which two shows are already available for purchase. G4's animated series
Code Monkeys, snowboarding reality show
The Block and daily tech news show
Attack of the Show (sorry, no
X-Play) are all up for purchase for 160 Microsoft points each. Though, for whatever reason,
Attack of the Show is currently missing in action. Also, as an introductory promotion, G4 is offering up
Code Monkeys' "Dave's Got Boobs" episode for free, so grab the 242MB episode if you're interested.

ugh. who cares.... G4 is horrible

I like code monkeys. I wish they would get more original content like that. I don't understand why you would put Attack of the Show up there. It's a live show and everything on it is old by the next week. It's not something you'd watch over and over like South Park.

You're absolutely right...programming like AOTS should, in my opinion, be available for free while shows with any sort of replay value should have to be paid for.
Gemini Ace @ May 28th 2008 10:52AM
1. Should be free.
2. Olivia Munn is hawt.
Carry on.

Ehh I get this stuff through iTunes every day for Free.
Why would I pay for it to have on my 360's hard drive?
xenocidic @ May 28th 2008 11:04AM
More Olivia Munn please
and
(Women of &) Ninja Warrior or bust.
oh, and bring it to Canada. G4TechTV has a distinct lack of Ninja Warrior

Now they're going to bring back old shows, I wouldn't be shocked if they try to sell those on XBL. Most of this stuff is free on itunes and they have X-Play which is still the only thing worth watching on that channel.
Matthew Moore @ May 28th 2008 8:06PM
X-Play would be the only show I would watch from G4 on XBLM, however considering the fact its $2 an episode and I would probably only buy it for a special or E3 coverage. But in all seriousness, who still watches Attack of The Show or G4 in general with Revision3 around?
Neuromancer @ May 28th 2008 11:47AM
Yeah G4 totally blows, the one show I liked they took off the air (Judgement Day). I guess the one show that was actually just about people talking about video games didn't fit the demographic they were going for.
Brave @ May 28th 2008 5:01PM
These shows from G4 are not worthy for the Xbox Live Video Marketplace.
Only shows Such as, Portal, Pulse, and the OLD Cheat!
Bring back the ole leet!!!
Sunny @ May 28th 2008 1:50PM
Yet another medium to ignore G4 on. Yippie.
blank964 @ May 29th 2008 2:16PM
Another thing is G4 doesn't broadcast in HD and I don't think they're even going to show the old Icons (not the lousy one where they show bands no ones heard of).
