Rockstar Social Club adds multiplayer stat tracking

Being knee-deep in big news yesterday blinded us to the fact that Rockstar Games has finally updated their Social Club page to include multiplayer stats.
Now, criminal masterminds in Grand Theft Auto IV can hit the website and check out detailed leaderboards and statistis for the each of the 14 basic multiplayer modes.
While some bugs are still being ironed out, the Social Club update is an important step to growning the GTAIV community as it awaits news on the highly anticipated downloadable content, exclusively coming to Xbox Live Marketplace this fall.
Now, go back to car jacking. It's been like 7-seconds since I heard a siren.

I gave up on that site after it refused to update my 100% single player stats even after the 100% contest ended!
This site ain't no bungie.net and thats for damn sure!
dirt junkie @ May 29th 2008 9:34PM
Yup I wont use it either, I've had 100% for some time now and the site never picked it up. Shame was really keen. Oh well.
AoE @ May 29th 2008 10:35PM
yeah... mine says 49%, but i'm at around 80% right now. It also tells me I am not a member of the Story Club yet, though I finished the storyline like 2+ weeks ago >_<
Out of interest, are you guys connected to live 100% of the time you're playing the game? I was online only maybe 30% of the total time i've been playing, and was just kind of assuming that was the reason my stats on socialclub are screwed...
Adorada @ May 29th 2008 9:18PM
Yet their site is still broken. I have 100% and the site has said 92% for about 2 weeks now, got it on May 14th

You know what i love about their social club?
It's not segregated between PS3 and 360. It's just GTA4. and we can all just be gamers.

You know what I hate about the social club?
Everything.
If I want to see just a global leaderboard, then include it in the damn game. The site does nothing else except report some stats which you can view in the game anyway.
There is no way to view stats for friends, or any other person but yourself, for that matter.
AoE @ May 29th 2008 10:36PM
agreed, so far the social is missing from social club.
JD @ May 29th 2008 10:04PM
I'm still waiting to hear about the 100% key.
Khayrhalt @ May 30th 2008 2:47AM
The same. I did 100% three hours before the end of the countdown, but my space on the rockstar social club was updated the saturday... 5 days after ! And still no email or something about these keys that I deserve...

Yea I was excited about the Social Club before the game was released because it showed a lot of promise. However instead of using it to expand content and creating a community for users, its just a useless statistics board that fails to do even basic things like track our progress. I achieved 100% on May 9th and it STILL reads 99% on the website. Very disappointing, I worked very hard for that key. I've always been loyal to Rockstar as they are a great company but right now they are letting me down.

I agree with the trend of thought that the SC sucks. I had high hopes for it, but as stated, it does not even come close th bungie. Was it supposed to? I was led the the impression that yes, it would have that sort of functionality. Sure, bungie keeps upgrading it and has been at it for a while. Either way, I thought the social club would allow me to track friends in the single player campaign as well as online and see what others have been doing. The police blotter was a good idea, but it was stuck for a few weeks with the same stats and they really don't say anything. Oooh, a lot of players killed somebody in East Hook. Big woopy. Oh well. Hopefully they will either improve it or drop it.

Yeah its fairly ballls, it says of done 87% but havn't completed the story
