Ubisoft attacks your summer with EndWar beta, register today!

Tipsters are going mad! Mad we tell ya! Today Ubisoft has been shooting off emails to registered users inviting them to register for a chance to beta test Tom Clancy's EndWar. The Xbox 360 exclusive open beta is scheduled to run for three weeks between June and July and allow users to the real-time strategy game online in 1v1 or 2v2 matches across three multiplayer maps.
Registration is now open for the open beta and Ubisoft reminds registrants that this is an actual beta and bugs are probably going to occur. Oh and remember kids, you need an Xbox Live Gold account, at least 3GB of free hard drive space (a bag full-o-memory cards won't do!) and a pocket full of hopes and dreams to get into the beta that's sure to fill up fast. If you are lucky enough to be selected for the beta you will be notified by Ubisoft at a later time.

I just signed up, but you aren't guaranteed a spot just by signing up it looks like. At the end of the survey it says that they will send us an email in the next few days letting us know if we have been chosen to participate.
Sounds awesome though!

Yeah, I'm also still waiting after about 5 minutes. Nothing in the spam box either. Guess their servers are getting hit pretty hard with requests.

Far be it from me to suggest that fellow X3F'ers lie on their applications, but it might be prudent to, shall we say, exaggerate our favourite types of game, and how many hours we play, in order to make us seem like the kind of beta testers a developer might want to test their RTS game....
I'm just saying - I got burned on the Battlefield beta because I foolishly said I hadn't done any beta testing before.

Just signed up. Laughed pretty hard at the "does anyone in your family work for a candy company" question. I find it a little bit strange that they ask for your home address, but not your home phone number.
3gb is harsh. Going to have to delete old demo's like crackdown and Tony Hawk *whatever number*.

when this has been taking forever. I submitted my email about 10-15 minutes after this article went up. I woke up in the morning and about 12 hours later, I still haven't received any emails from ubisoft. Checked my spam folder too.

I guess I don't get to try, I've submitted a request 3 times and used a different email address and no luck...it's weird cause the same thing happened with the COD4 beta. Oh well.

Don't use your hotmail address. I sent my hotmail email address and I received nothing back. I used my gmail address and it came instantly.
