Ubisoft just announced today that HAWX, Ubi's attempt to fly into the flight combat genre arena, will reach super sonic speeds and fly into retailers this September. And that's a surprise to us. We were under the impression that HAWX would be fueled up for late Fall, either October, November or as late as December. But it's a good thing, because fighting for freedom can not and should not wait. ThundercatsHAWX GO!
i really hope this comes up to par with ace combat 6, the graphics so far look really nice but i just wish you could switch the view of your plane without effecting the control scheme/difficulty as ubisoft has it designed right now..
jesus christ - hasn't ubi learned their lesson? Moving games up just means you have less time for debugging - Valve's constant delays always end up with quality products and the month extra that R6V2 for PC took to develop resulted in it being a not-half-bad port. I dunno, this makes me want to buy this less now.

And the question is, pick this up, or pick up Ace Combat 6 for cheap?

If you're a completionist, I wouldn't go for Ace Combat 6...lol it's hella hard to finish up the achievements. lol
But if you liked previous Ace Combat iterations, you'll LOVE this one.

I've never really played my flight combat sims but this has sparked my interest. I may just invest a little bit into this.

I have never played flying combat sims. They confuse the hell outta me. But if HAWX does indeed look as good as THAT, i might just as well try it out.
But i highly doubt HAWX looks like that. Those are CGI screens. Ubi needs to release more in-game screens.
