Seriously, if you buy the Jimmy Buffet then you're part of the problem. And the terrorist win. And an angel dies. And so does a kitten. Seriously.
Neuromancer @ Jun 3rd 2008 10:45AM
Sorry Gemini, there's going to be one dead kitten when I get through with this DLC. How can you not like Margaritaville? It's like, one of the greatest songs of all time!
HazyCloud @ Jun 3rd 2008 10:53AM
That makes 2 kittens. Buffet f'n rocks. Volcano is a blast to play on the drums. I'll hit up Disturbed after work.
Glitch W @ Jun 3rd 2008 10:59AM
I don't see the point in putting down other people because they enjoy a different type of music.
Gemini Ace @ Jun 3rd 2008 11:05AM
It just doesn't belong in a game called Rock Band. That's my whole point. Like it all you want. I can't help you have bad taste! lol!
Thrombo19 @ Jun 3rd 2008 11:09AM
If the wife says go, thats 3 kitty cats. I'm not the biggest buffet fan, but any song i already know the words to = fun on RB, and if it makes the wife want to play some more, than its worth some points I probably got for free with some other purchase.
Oh, and a bit to spite gemini ;) he he
Deezul @ Jun 3rd 2008 11:35AM
I know the words to several Tiffany and Debbie Gibson songs. Does than mean I want to buy them on Rock Band? No.
But Ice Ice Baby? Put that up!
Gemini Ace @ Jun 3rd 2008 11:44AM
Good point! Ice Ice Baby would be awesome!
zourskittles @ Jun 3rd 2008 1:56PM
So you try to bring down others for liking good music (although bad in your opinion) like Jimmy Buffet, but than you WANT Ice Ice Baby? I'm not being like you and just bringing you down for liking a song, but Ice Ice Baby? Who the hell wants one of the worst rap/hip hop (whatever it is) songs ever created? Even Vanilla Ice himself doesn't like that song.
Gemini Ace @ Jun 3rd 2008 7:04PM
zourskittles, is it possible for you to get sarcasm? Just checking.
zourskittles @ Jun 3rd 2008 9:05PM
Huh, well I was confused, i got here when you got all that negative feedback and faded out. So I sorta didn't think that was going on. And I dunno maybe the big rant I just had when i flipped out on my newly found ex-girlfriend put me a little over the edge and on the ranting side. Accept my apology?
Gemini Ace @ Jun 3rd 2008 9:13PM
Hey, it's all good. I deserve a little flaming now and then. Keeps the blood flowing. :-)
Lewis (GT: StoneRevolver) @ Jun 3rd 2008 10:53AM
Even for 80 MS POints each, I wouldn't touch anything associated to Disturbed.
HazyCloud @ Jun 3rd 2008 10:59AM
Harmonix could release the Sesame Street theme for 80 points and I'd buy it. Sometimes songs you despise turn out to be great RB songs. I'm lookin' at you, Roam and Crushcrushcrush.
Deezul @ Jun 3rd 2008 11:36AM
If they're putting more B-52s, Rock Lobster or Private Idaho need to be there...
Magic Whiskey @ Jun 3rd 2008 12:04PM
Disturbed and Jimmy Buffett...hmm.
I can TOTALLY predict the next few weeks' Rock Band offerings. They are:
1. Pantera and James Taylor
2. Korn and Bananarama
3. Insane Klown Posse and Elton John
4. Rammstein and Hall & Oates
5. Marilyn Manson and Enya
6. Flaw and Ray Charles
Brad @ Jun 3rd 2008 12:25PM
I would throw down some major duckets for a Du Hast/Rich Girl song pack
lysernix @ Jun 3rd 2008 12:26PM
I'll be all over the Rammstein and Hall & Oates.
Jer @ Jun 3rd 2008 12:26PM
I'd get EVERY SINGLE ONE OF THOSE!
Magic Whiskey @ Jun 3rd 2008 12:30PM
Hah! I was making these 'predictions' with friends all Sunday night over COD matches.
Lest I forget..
7. Monkees and Gwar
8. Radiohead and Sharon, Lois & Bram
9. Lil' Kim and Raffi
(Banana Phone FTW!)
HazyCloud @ Jun 3rd 2008 12:35PM
+1 for you for the Elephant Show reference. That's classic shit right there.
Magic Whiskey @ Jun 3rd 2008 12:59PM
In theory, "I Am Slowly Going Crazy" COULD make for an interesting drumming experience..
xlxctxlx @ Jun 3rd 2008 1:18PM
Pink Floyd would be something i would buy all day long on rock band and If you listen to the words of Volcano on the rock band version it says i just want to be a couch potato and play rock band all day. How funny is that.
HazyCloud @ Jun 3rd 2008 1:33PM
Good find. I'll give it a listen tonight. Kudos to you, Buffet.
DeadPlasmaCell @ Jun 3rd 2008 2:15PM
Anyone ever get their Disturbed Pre-Order Codes???
HazyCloud @ Jun 3rd 2008 2:24PM
Still nothing from Best Buy. They are supposed to be sent out today. I went ahead and just bought the 3 pack for 240 points. I'll give the codes to a friend if and when they arrive.
Thrombo19 @ Jun 3rd 2008 4:05PM
I'm your friend Hazy :)
DarkNightRJ @ Jun 3rd 2008 2:52PM
Disturbed rocks! now only if I had rockband...
Kev (gamertag: ksiddique) @ Jun 3rd 2008 3:37PM
Rock Band 2 should be called "Band". Then we could get all sorts of music. :)
CodeMaster @ Jun 3rd 2008 5:17PM
I'm about to be your hero
Go to http://disturbed1.com/xbox
Enter 1lfa89 and click submit.
Enter the code you receive on Live for the songs.
Enjoy!
HazyCloud @ Jun 3rd 2008 5:23PM
Does that work more than once? I don't think it will. Someone should try and report back. Here...

CodeMaster @ Jun 3rd 2008 5:30PM
Each time you enter the code (1lfa89) on that site, it gives you a different live code.... It's infinite.... I PROMISE it works :D
HazyCloud @ Jun 3rd 2008 5:37PM
Cool. That's why I posted that 5x5 I got. I wanted to see if anyone else received a different code after entering 1lfa89.
CodeMaster @ Jun 3rd 2008 5:33PM
The code you posted (PV9XK-M6FJ2-QM8V8-R4P2H-D8BDQ) will only work once.... that's why I didn't post that part. Sorry for not clarifying the first time ;)
HazyCloud @ Jun 3rd 2008 5:38PM
No problem. Thanks for helping the community out. I'm sure the people who haven't bought these will be happy.
nick @ Jun 4th 2008 10:32AM
Hazy Cloud had you entered that code yet? I used it an it worked. Thanks for the code man! The 5X5 one worked, but when I tried the 6 digit one on the website, it just said "Here is your code." and there was a blank area. Anyways, thanks again for the code Hazy Cloud.
HazyCloud @ Jun 4th 2008 1:39PM
@ nick
No, I hadn't entered that code before you did. I purchased the songs yesterday morning as a 3 pack. Good job. You were smart enough to try that code before someone else. +1 for you and 2 free songs.
CodeMaster @ Jun 3rd 2008 5:44PM
Anytime. Happy to help!
Enjoy, folks!
pwarren4 @ Jun 3rd 2008 6:39PM
The Jimmy Buffett pack is very cool. Just got home form work and gave it a go.
Margaritaville = Fun nostalgia
Volcano = Fun song
Cheeseburger = Best of these 3 for the Rock Band experience.
Biggest complaint (and I mean BIG), they didn't use the Feeding Frenzy versions!!1! For those non-Parrot Heads out there - that would be they didn't use the live versions. I mean WTF? Rock Band is a live setting - why not the LIVE version? Not just for these either - I think there should be more live versions available. Esp. the "classics"

Whitedragon101 @ Jun 3rd 2008 6:44PM
Speaking of the Disturbed DLC, did anyone do the preorder thing with best buy? if so, did you get the codes yet? Just wondering, cause I haven't
Whitedragon101 @ Jun 3rd 2008 6:45PM
Guess I should read the comments before I post eh? Oh well the question still stands.
pibs @ Jun 3rd 2008 10:18PM
1lfa89 doesn't seem to work no more because it doesn't give a code after it just says heres your code and its blank lol
if anybody got any extra code, could you message it to me on live to gt: Czarkill
thanks
Chapter11 @ Jun 4th 2008 6:26PM
For those who did get their codes so far, what songs do you get? Can you choose, or is it two specific songs? I remember the websites being kind of non-specific. A best buy rep told me I would get inside the fire and indestructible. The problem is, since so many abused the system, a lot of us didn't get our codes, and it will take up to a week to get them. So now I need to know what songs I will get because if I wait for a week the third song will no longer be 80 points.
nick @ Jun 4th 2008 11:38PM
I downloaded the track pack today with the code. I can confirm the code gets you Indestructible and Inside the Fire. Perfect Insanity is the one you are going to want to pay for and download if you want all three.
