Introducing the Ninja Gaiden II page

Ladies and gentlmen, fanboys and girls, Xbox 360 Fanboy presents the Ninja Gaiden II page. This is our first page dedicated to a single game (you may have seen similar pages on Joystiq). On the page you will find all the major Ninja Gaiden II news stories, every Ninja Gaiden II screenshot, and all the Ninja Gaiden II features compiled into a single, bookmark-friendly page. The page will be updated as time goes on to include other features and stories as well (including an upcoming episode of Points>Life). This is only the first dedicated game page on X3F. Expect more to show up in the future. With major 360 exclusives right around the corner (Gears of War 2, Fable 2), there's plenty to cover.

Well, i thought i was the only one ;-), love gta, and a lot of games ...but NG2 ...? not so much - kind of boring....

NG kind of boring??? man... i have yet to finished one GTA because they get repetitive and boring fast. almost sold GTA4 to buy NG2... but I used my blurays instead.

Man that game keeps getting better and better as you go. So far I'm on the 6th level. I love it! Don't worry Ritchard, we can have huge boners together.

seriously the game is awesome!! Im on level 5 i think but havent been able to pass a single test of valor :(

those are hard!! its like the enemies never stop!!

yeah I was only able to pass the first test of valor on warrior, then I decided since they are soooooo hard that I will spend all my money on weapon upgrades on my 1st play through, then on my 2nd run I will spend all money on health and ninpo to get passed the test, also my 2nd play will be a skull finding run.

richard: you need the "Rod of Trials". A golden rod that activates theses round rock platforms to blue. This Rod can only be found in Ch.2 right after you find the "Notebook of Ultimate Guidance".
There are these stairs that if you just run up them you will only battle a few ninjas, but if you stay at the bottom of these stairs the ninjas will just kept coming...something like 30 of them. once they are finished you get the gold rod.

I'm on the 3rd one right now. The first run through I almost beat it, but those stupid dragons are frustrating. Going to give it a shot after work today.

The 2nd one gave me a talisman of rebirth, which I already had one, and you can only carry, one. Pissed me off.

Richard there is an item you have to have for them to be available I believe?? I think you find it early on in the game but I dont remember what its called.

They are intense, the one I was trying last night just about seemed impossible! haha.

To whoever didn't pick up the item for the test of valors, start over. The tests are sooo much fun. The first one was a breeze. The second was a bit tougher - died at least five times. Still, if you don't mind spamming UTs then you shouldn't have any problems.

what makes it worse, I didnt know you got achievements for them, so I tried the first a couple times then said forget it, tried the 2nd for a while then said forget it. If I would have know, I would have kept going!

stupid secret achivements! haha.

If anyone has beat the 3rd one, what are you supposed to do to those dragons?? they are such a pain!

Nice to see a page just for this game. I also have little blood flowing to my brain ever since this game has arrived.

Would be nice to have an area where people can discuss the game: especially tactics for defeating the bosses. Is it just me or is the boss of chapter 3 just plain cheap. No way should a boss have attacks that you can't dodge or block (little homing missiles). Yes, you can use ninpo, but that's just lame and lacks any skill.

NGB's bosses were hard, but always fair. If you had enough skill you could get by without ever being hit. But NG2...I nearly threw my controller last night, for the first time ever!
