Another RTS hits June 23: Supreme Commander
While it isn't the best represented genre on the 360 by a long shot, RTS's have still managed to stake their claim on the platform, and between the coming C&C3 expansion and the newly gone gold Supreme Commander this month looks to see them expanding their territory. Having released over a year ago we're not sure exactly how much territory will be gained by Supreme Commander, but the game was well received when it was released and is likely to still be as good when it comes to console. Besides, the real question will be whether or not the game will hold console RTS fans over until they get what they really seem to want: Halo Wars.

Seriously.

Just FYI, unlike the PC version, Kane's Wrath wont be a DLC addon for 360. It will be a standalone retail disc with it's own 1000 achievement points to earn.

Probably pick this one up, always looked good.
Hopefully they'll do the same with Demigod, and bring it over to 360 around it's release. Looks even better than Supreme Commander.

Halo Wars is going to be awesome.

I am actually looking forward to Civ:Rev right now too. Anyone play that demo? Lots of fun!! I'm on the fence about Kane's Wrath - is the price going to be 59.99? If so, then no way. If its more like 30 bucks, I'm all in, but I won't be playing an 'expansion' for 60 bucks.

ya man, Civ Rev is amazing! i was unsure what it'd be like, but the demo got me hooked and begging for more. i'll be pickin up that day 1.

I'm thinking turn-based strategies are probably more feasible on consoles rather than RTS, though this doesn't stop me from buying the RTS games.

Kane's Wrath will be $39.99
Sgt Barone @ Jun 11th 2008 8:41AM
oh ya, and kane's wrath is $39.99, so yes, it'll be worth it. im picking that up on day 1 with Battlefield: BC!
Frosty22 @ Jun 11th 2008 9:03AM
good to know. I'll wait for a $10 drop in price for this one a few weeks after launch. Do you know, is the original C&C going to be required at all?

All you need to know about SC is that it is the spiritual successor to Total Annihilation.
Best. RTS. EVER.
I hate to say it, but even TA (around a decade old) blows HW off the map.

Hell yes it does I still play that game to this day!
Sgt Barone @ Jun 11th 2008 2:44PM
Frosty:
you don't need C&C 3 to play Kane's Wrath. its a standalone retail disc. thats one of the reasons im gettin this.
