Fiddy's friend says Blood on the Sand "as good as Gears of War"

This should allay everyone's fears about 50 Cent: Blood on the Sand. According to TeamXbox, a member of 50 Cent's G-Unit crew, Tony Yayo, has been quoted as saying that Blood on the Sand is "looking as good as Gears of War." Lofty words to be sure. Of course, given the source, we're a little skeptical. Fortunately, Yayo doesn't seem to be the only one impressed with the game, as TeamXbox also reports that Epic's own Mark Rein told CVG he was "blown away" by the game last year. In fact, even our own Terrence Stasse managed to enjoy the game during a recent Sierra event.

Who knows, maybe Blood on the Sand will make us all forget about Bulletproof (or die tryin').

It looks interesting, but I'm not buying it, no matter how good it might be, because it involves 50 Cent.

The 50 Cent game scenario reminds me of the Sopranos scene where they abduct a famous film writer, portrayed by Timothy Daly, and force him to write their script.

same here. If it didnt have 50 in it I might consider it. But Im going to ignore it just because I hate the fact that a rich rapper who knows nothing about games just wants to make more money and hires some1 to make a game revolving soley around himself to make more money and make himself look cool.

No way am I giving into that crap. Im sure all the 50 fans will tho, like they did with the first game :(

Besides, GOW2, is almost here, not interested in a game like GOW1 ATM.

lol - this game wont have anything on Gears of War - it may look good visually [i'm not convinced], but the gameplay & storyline will most likely be absolute sh*t.

Honestly, no matter how good the game maybe (I totally doubt its any good at all), the premise is just so bull$hit that no one should buy this game.

Wow, some of the comments are just ignorant, i understand that you might not like 50 but if the game is hot, maybe just maybe you might want to consider trying it, just maybe, i wonder if it was called i dont know something like Tim McGraw Ash of my fathers it might be worth checking out, that game actually sounds cool.

"G-Unit are putting on a show somewhere in the Middle East. The crowd is pleased, but the promoter refuses to pay 50 Cent and G-Unit. The promoter does not give them money, but a very valuable diamond encrusted skull instead.

Wow, this definitely is going to have as deeply rich and cinematic of a storyline as COD4. Er, or at least as good as Cop and a Half, starring Burt Reynolds and that annoying little kid. Well, maybe not quite as good as Cop and a Half, but at least as good as the Aquaman game. Um, maybe.
