Coldplay DLC takes over GHIII next Thursday
Just as Entertainment Weekly promised, Activision recently sent word that music from Coldplay, including a track from their latest album Viva la Vida, will be making its way to the XBLM as Guitar Hero III downloadable content next Thursday, June 19th. The Coldplay DLC pack will consist of three tracks including their latest single "Violet Hill", their first ever hit "Yellow" and the single "God Put a Smile Upon Your Face". Even though Acti didn't make any mention of pricing, we expect you'll be able to grab this three pack for the standard GHIII DLC going rate of 500 Microsoft points. Official press release posted after the break.

I know it's been said many times but...why aren't these on Rock Band?
I love Coldplay but they don't have that amazing of guitar work that it needs to be showcased on a Guitar Hero game.

Lame.. Jimmy buffet, Coldplay.. is it really coming to this for RockBand & Guitar Hero? (not knocking the bands themselves mind you) Guess they're saving the good stuff for the next games.

I found this great new site that you should really try out, you just type whatever you're looking for into what's called a "search engine" and it finds whatever you're looking for.
Check it out! It's called: www.google.com

A definite buy for me. Would've liked to sing these songs, but I'll take what I can get. Now I got to see if I can find a deal on some MS Points.
Viva La Vida on Tuesday! Free t-shirt at Circuit City even, haha.
Boff @ Jun 16th 2008 9:32AM
Those tracks are alright but don't know how well they'll transfer to GH.
Doubt I'll buy. Coldplay aren't bad - just prefer to shred the axe to something a bit heavier!
