Yes, we'll admit, we're a bit obsessively excited to play The Behemoth's
Castle Crashers. And ever since we learned that
development has wrapped we've been experiencing reserved excitement. Reserved only because our
Castle Crashers wait has been full of delays, more development and more waiting which leaves us believing that there may be a chance that The Behemoth will announce that they've jumped back into development for some crazy reason, ultimately leading to a 2010 release. Scary thought, no? But we're pleased to reveal that there is absolutely no turning back with
Castle Crashers' release, because we just learned that the game has been rated "T" (for teen) by the
ESRB. This means we can now go from reserved excitement to full fledged, ecstatic, ADD filled excitement. We say, bring on the blood, gore, cartoon violence and crude humor! We're ready!
[Thanks,
Jonah Falcon]

Any word on pricing yet? Most likely 1600 points? More?
PeacefulOutrage @ Jun 15th 2008 12:45PM
I thought it was 800 pts.
Jcarpio @ Jun 15th 2008 11:58AM
I'm thinking this is getting released during e3 week.

Man i wish there was a way to sell download content to other users for MS points if ya dont want it anymore. I have all these damn rockband songs i bought that are useless now that i sold the bundle.
Anyways this game looks fun, ill have to check it out.
DemonGSides @ Jun 15th 2008 12:08PM
Why...?
Drachen77 @ Jun 15th 2008 12:29PM
I really hope it wouldn't be a 1600 pointer. Although it would probably be worth it. The more I think about it, I guess there isn't much difference between 1200 and 1600 points. You know it won't be 800.
ZenGaijin @ Jun 15th 2008 12:44PM
I think there is a chance that it will be 800 points. Alien Hominid was a full game and was 800 points.

For some reason, the extended wait for this game and the amount of reporting done on it by, but not solely, X3F has made me resent this game. I'd probably enjoy it, but as of now, I'm just sick of hearing about it.
Boff @ Jun 16th 2008 9:21AM
I know what you mean, I've done a complete U-turn since first hearing about this and being all excited. Nowadays every time people get excited for this I just want to tell them to shut up!
Maybe it's misplaced anger from having to wait for so long!
I'll still give the trial a go, obviously. ;o)

FINALLY.
This game will hopefully tide me over until Too Human. My friends and I are going to LOVE this. I don't care how many points this is...
Anticrawl @ Jun 16th 2008 5:27AM
Agreed, hopefully it releases before Too Human. I'm personally hoping one of these new games releasing like Bad Company can keep me interested until Too Human releases. Worst comes to worst I still have Shadowrun.
LiveResistance @ Jun 15th 2008 9:33PM
I agree with Jcarpio. It would be a nice surprise to hear them talking about Castle Crashers during E3 and then hear them say that "It's now available for download on XBox Live." It would be a welcome announcement indeed!
DaMan09 @ Jun 16th 2008 1:45AM
Does this mean its been certified?
DjDATZ @ Jun 16th 2008 9:35AM
Sweet. I'll be picking up the Castle Crashers action figures soon enough. :D
