Gears of War movie snags director Wiseman
Progress is being made on the Gears of War movie (which is something we can't say about our long desired Halo movie) as evident by the fact that the New Line Cinema business execs in charge of bringing Marcus Fenix to the big screen have settled on a director for the film.Variety is reporting that Live Free or Die Hard and Underworld Evolution director Len Wiseman will be taking the Gears of War movie reins. Which isn't really a huge surprise seeing that Gears of War had a cameo in Wiseman's latest flick Live Free or Die Hard which all but confirmed his involvement in the Gears movie ... or at least that's how our impressionably hopeful fanboy minds took it. A Gears movie that was originally slated or a Summer 2009 release, but development on the film has been taking longer than expected which means a delay into 2010 is inevitable. Also, is it just us or does it look like Wiseman is giving the old Bleszinski a run for his "pretty boy" money? Eh?

I met this guy at the Toronto Film Festive a few years ago. Slightly after Underworld came out, pretty cool dude.

Hopefully, Epic is going to push hard for retaining a solid storyline (as they're saying they've done in GOW2). Live Free or Die Hard was a tad silly and I never bothered to see Underworld. I hope they are aiming higher than both of those films in terms of quality.

Add in Ryan Seacrest and we have a trifecta of metrosexual haircuts!

For those who saw the new Hulk, and for those who are planning on seeing it. I dunno if it was just me but in two scenes I imagined how cool a Gears movie would look. One was when the hulk climbed out of the big crater he made in the street (emergence hole) and went beserk, although locusts arent exactly green. But than just seeing the abomination run around reminded me alot of locusts, pretty neat if you need a little something to get you excited for a gears movie. Anyone else who saw it agree?

He's also married to Kate Beckinsale that son of a bitch.

That's what I'm saying.. but maybe he can convince Kate to be the first female cog. That'd be hot. :)

I think we got lucky on this one.

So, he gets to be a big kid and make gun-heavy action flicks by day,and gets to bang Kate Beckinsale by night.
This guy has the best live ever. Period.
