Shipping this week: OMG Megaton edition

No, it's not a news related OMG Megaton. It's more like a "holy effing crap, look at all these games" kind of megaton. There are ten, ten games hitting the Xbox 360 this week. What's more, a lot of them look decent and, dare we say it, some of them even look good. Just look at all of 'em.

It's enough to give someone googly eyes. Alone in the Dark has our interest piqued (and has thus far fared decently in Europe). Here's hoping it -- and everything else here -- is up to snuff.

Lots of games, but the excitement of Q1/Q2 releases has faded. Are we really gonna play GTAIV until August (Too Human)? Is there any other choice? :(

There's a lot of good game en route, but I'm not excited by any of the summer titles.

so far the reviews seem to be saying alone in the dark is a good try and idea, but fails to succeed at what it tries to do, with too many bugs, no replay value, an annoying inventory, and sluggish controls, i was hoping this demo would come today so I could consider getting it with bad company tomorrow, but i guess it'll just be a rent.

I'm interested in Operation Darkness, but I don't know about $60 for it. But with Atlus published games it's a crapshoot: either they hit the bargain bin in a month or they never go down in price. I'm kind of hoping this one is part of the former category.
