Demos are sort of a mixed blessing. Every morning, we fire up the old Xbox, quickly put out the fire, and then browse the
Marketplace hoping to find something special. A good video is nice, but a demo is even better ... usually. You see, today's demo is
Don King Presents: Prizefighter. A few months ago, sure, we might have looked at the
Prizefighter demo with some sense of excitement. Now, after some especially tepid reviews, we can barely muster even detached interest. Still, it's not like you have
any other choice if you're looking for a new boxing game. At the very least, it could save you from making a costly mistake, right?

ITS CRAP

Don King and his ilk of promoters Single Handedly strangled Boxing into insignificance.
It went from a sport of Kings to a joke that is the under card for a good MMA event. By forcing our eyes to one or two "super star" fighters, as opposed to a wide range of great boxing stars from around the world, they limited the scope of their markets and killed off interest.
(Just like EA is trying to do to Gaming - as a relevant parallel)

this game is total garbage and really missed the chance. I rented it from blockbuster and completed the game to get an EASY 800 or so points
i completed the entire game with one punch - hold RB+RT and press A - dont even bother to worry bout stamina u win every fight hands down.
this game had promise but was ultimately just garbage

I've read it averaged roughly a 6.2 out of 10. Most reviewers hated the complicated sequence to throw punches. Others gaffed at the graphical presentation. Balance killed the game in the eyes of other reviewers. All in all, I'll DL the game b/c my friend decided to buy a 360 b/c of Prizefighter and RE5.
These reviews have convinced me to pick up FNR3 for cheap on ebay or half.com to try to learn that interface again.

"Every morning, we fire up the old Xbox, quickly put out the fire..."
That got a hearty LOL from me. Thank you.

Yeah, this demo was horrible. I literally didn't even finish the first fight. I just quit back to dashboard and deleted the fucking thing. Downloading this is like installing cancer on your 360...
