Ubisoft extends more EndWar beta invitations

Feeling down because you weren't selected to participate in Ubisoft's closed beta of Tom Clancy's EndWar? Well, pucker up soldier! Today Ubisoft has released more beta codes to gamers who have yet to hear back regarding the test, which ends on July 7. Still shrouded behind a curtain of NDA mystery, the RTS console title began initial online testing of its multiple modes and three multiplayer maps on June 17 with a rumored 15,000 players. No word on whether Ubisoft plans to release a third wave of codes for the beta or if the NDA will lift prior to the end of the test. Tom Clancy's EndWar is scheduled to release fall.

This was seriously nessary. I enjoy the game, but Finding games was nigh impossible.

Agreed, I got mine on the first wave but there is noone online playing it. Takes forever to find a game.

Yeah it's fun. I'm glad they did this because sometimes it took forever to get into a game.

I got mine today. That was a good morning surprise. Actually, I got 10 emails saying that I was selected. All I needed was 1.

You get an email linking to a website, but each account only gets one code.

I got about 10 also, but as the code is stored on your endwar account and can only be used once you can't share.

The email seemed to imply that too many people had chosen a particular team, and they needed new blood and asked people to choose a different team from the one which was over-populated.

Wow, this is strange. I already had a key and have been playing for awhile, but I just got another one on the same account. I don't really need it, so if someone wants it they can reply to this with an email to send it to.

I got in on the first batch of invites, played the beta maybe 4 or 5 times.... but i just can't get into it. It's a bit different from your usual RTS fare and the interface takes a bit getting used to.
I'm still excited for the final product though because single player is usually slower and more strategic than anything online.
