X3F TV -- Points>Life: It's About Timing
Each week, X3F tips gamers to the tricks of the trade of Achievement hording in Points>Life. Every week a new achievement is unlocked to help you continue your unhealthy obsession with the Xbox 360 meta-game.
This week in Points>Life we tackle the Matt Damon-less action shooter, The Bourne Conspiracy. Based on a modern interpretation of the books by Robert Ludlum (we think they mean the movies), you play as an amnesia struck Jason Bourne. This week's tip showcases an easy trick that utilizes a tutorial in the game to claim a cool, free, 25GP.

The only thing is this game sucks. Badly. I didn't even get this far because of the crappy gameplay they offer.
Repetitive fight scenes + tedious boss fights + crappy shooting system = fail.

WAIT, but what about the......oh, never mind, you're completely correct.
Gloqwi @ Jun 27th 2008 8:13PM
I don't mind the repetitive fighting(even though there are VERY few combos), but the shooting system and boss battles are teh suckz. But I think the fight scenes are pretty cool.

Orange Box also does a good job with monitoring your achievement progress.

Good to see you back Xav. Glad you got over your cold.
[Bonus points for the achievement unlocking too! Always rewarding to see during these videos!]

I bought it and loved. I got 1000 points over the weekend. Guys ion my office are now going to give it a wirl!

I purchased it also and love it.......it's really fast paced and the aiming is simple. I'm assuming the people who found it difficult didn't give it a chance. If you look in the enemies direction before you aim (left trigger) you automatically lock in on the target until he runs away. I needed this acheivement so thanks!

Xav,
Why must you continue to tease me with 'The Unit' theme song? Season 4 needs to get here, NOW.
SGT Monty @ Jun 24th 2008 10:09PM
For sure, but that's the original Unit theme song. It changed in Season 3 to Robert Duncan's "Walk the Fire".
On topic though...the demo turned me off on this one. Maybe I'll rent it one day.
Bluemanrule @ Jun 26th 2008 4:05PM
Word. I love that theme song. Anyway, nice vid Xav. I'm going to try to rent this one soon. I loved the demo.
